A/N: Hey Everyone! This was originally going to be released on Christmas but then life was life and decided to throw everything it could at me to stop me from posting!  But here it is in full UNEDITED glory.
-------------
-Two years later-

I was cooking in the kitchen and waiting. No matter how much I tried, my eyes kept being drawn to the clock. It was tormenting me, the waiting, the time seeming to slow as I grew more impatient. One second turned to ten. Ten seconds turn to a minute and a minute into thirty. Thirty into an hour, before finally that familiar heartwarming sound met my ears. I grin as I yell the usual parting works to the twins.

"I'm leaving! No opening the door to strangers or throwing parties while I'm gone. Chloe your in charge of heating up dinner."

"Yes mum." Chloe replied.

"Be safe and come back soon, okay?" Cody replied.

I smile and grab my bag, running out to the waiting TARDIS, and walk in, hugging the doctor happily. "Hey Doctor!"

"Izzy there you are! I was thinking that today we can just do something fun, like visit the future!"

I roll my eyes, "All of our trips are fun dad. Some are just better than others in the area of facing death."

I laugh at my own words, not noticing the look that he was giving me. He however turned it to a smile before I could see. We eventually decided to just let the TARDIS choose something for us. Once we had landed the Doctor ran out and I went to follow, hesitating due to a sudden headache. It was becoming a common thing for me to get migraines now; I never really considered it to be a problem as much as an inconvenience.

"You coming?" the Doctor asked, "We're losing Izzy Doctor time!" He whines like a child, making me snort.

"You're so childish! Yes I'm coming I'll be out right behind you."

-5 hours later-

The doctor and I stumbled back to the TARDIS, covered in slime. Long story short a monster made of a snot like substance had been terrorizing a village. We'd sorted it, but gotten a bit... messy in the process.

After both of us bathed, changed, and got a bite to eat in a 1980's diner. He took me home. I opened the door and was shocked to see that instead of the sunny, mid autumn weather I had left earlier, it was replaced by a bright, chilling layer of fresh snow.

My breath swirled in warm puffs, floating on the chilled air. The moon and stars highlighted the frost that fell from the trees in my neighborhood giving the light substance an appearance that could only be related to glitter. A messily made snow man was in the lawn beside my porch, and due to my neighbors extravagant light decorations of reindeer and blinking lights I knew what time it was. Christmas. It was Christmas Eve.

"Oh my god, you landed two months into the future!"

"Oh I did? Are you sure? I mean it might be the same day or-"

The Doctor was silenced as I chucked a snowball at him, "Yeah pretty sure all this doesn't show up in October."

The snowball hit him square in the chest and the Doctor squawks, nearly falling over. Then I'm hit with a knot of fear in my stomach. "C-Cody! Chloe!" I ran inside and found them tucked in their beds. Slowly I relaxed and watched their peaceful visages. Then got nearly scared out of my skin when the Doctor touched my arm. I spun around with the full intentions of decking him instead of the halls but luckily came to my senses.

A/N: PFFFT I'm sorry for the pun XD.... A-Anyway back to the story!

"Don't do that!" I whisper yelled.

The Doctor laughed silently and I escorted him out of the twins' room. We sat downstairs by the Christmas tree, and the Doctor grins.

"You'll make a nice surprise for Christmas morning. I always bring 'em back home for Christmas."

I snort. "Yeah, wrap me in ribbons and throw some glitter on me. Stuff me under the tree." I roll my eyes.

"I could pop out and get some gifts for them?"

"No no it's fine." I yawn.

He put an arm around me and slowly, I fell asleep against him.

-Christmas Morning-

I wake up in my bed, yawning. Opening my eyes, I struggled to remember where I was or how I'd gotten there till my brain finally started to work. I smelt the delicious smell of cookies downstairs and headed down curiously to find Chloe and Cody in a mountain of presents. There were Jammy Dodgers, Gingerbread, and sugar cookies sitting on the table with three plates of breakfast. Wonderful omelettes, with... fish fingers.

I furrowed my brow, when suddenly the Doctor waltzed out with a big bowl of custard and a fez on his head. "Alright I think it's about time we woke you mo- Oh Izzy hello! Merry Christmas!"

"Oh Dad you didn't have to-"

"Mom mom!" Cody interrupted, hugging me, "Grandpa is so fun! He made all kinds of stuff and brought us Eggnog and presents and you!!"

Chloe was smiling ear to ear as she and the Doctor shared fish fingers and custard.

Well, the magic man did it again. Spreading his childish happiness and saving Christmas. Who am I to complain?
