Chapter 16 ---
~8 years in the future, the next morning~
I got out of bed rubbing my head with a groan. I realize that there isn't much of a reason to get up as I didn't have my job anymore, but one of my good old walks might relax me a bit.
I walked down along the docks looking at the water, but the wood was rather slippery and I slipped almost falling in. But something stopped me, and that was an arm around my waist. I glance behind me to see..... the American. I blush and he pulls me up. "You should really be more careful. Because next time I may not be there to save you.
"W-Who are you....?" I ask fighting my sudden inability to make complete thoughts.
"Captain Jack Harkness." he gave me that smile.
I shut my eyes as he takes his hands off me and start to say, "Well thanks Ca-...." I open my eyes only to realize he was gone, "Jack?" I looked around absolutely puzzled.
Did I just imagine that.....? I start to walk through town my blush finally fading.
What does he want with me anyway? I mean I am not anything special...... unless he really is just a huge perve.....
I crashed into someone causing them to drop all of there books, papers and files. I blink startled as I look up and see the face of a handsome young man, with curly chestnut hair and forrest green eyes. "Ohmygosh! I am so so sorry!" I exclaimed as I helped him pick up his papers and things.
"It's fine really I should have been watching where I was going." he replied in a soft shy voice.
"Let's just call it a tie on whose fault it is alright? " I ask with an embarrassed smile.
"Alright...."
I couldn't help but look at a paper entitled, 'Life amongst the stars'. I fought back a laugh as this seemed way too perfect.
He seemed way too perfect.

Okay hello! So? what is up with all these akward Izzy moments? hmmmm well I have been reading way to much romance recently and so I thought up an ADORABLE idea and this was just a teaser chapter..... or possibly a filler to tide you guys over. So sorry for the short terrible chapter.
