Chapter 19 (UNEDITED)

A few weeks later- Back in Cardiff

It was late and i had just finished up dinner with David at this fancy restaurant. He had gone to get the car while I paid, with his money of course, for our meal. I quietly walked out waiting out front in the cold of the night waiting for David, when i sttarted hearing..... noises.

Growling.

Shuffling.

hissing.

I look around for the source of the noise.

Growling.

Shuffling.

Hissing.

I walk towards the alley slowly.

Growling.

Shuffling.

A blood curling scream rips through the air.

I jolt into action running around the corner, to see a strange creature in a blue jumpsuit covered in blood. And the source of the blood is just out of sight blocked by a dumpster. The creature turns on me and I instantly grab the closest thing I could find for a weapon. It charges knocking me to the ground and i use my weapon, something made of wood, to defend myself . I hear loud footfalls behind me as the monster wrestles me down snapping at my neck. I shut my eyes but suddenly feel the pressure lessen. I open my eyes to see none other than Jack, and a few of his team members in the alley. The thing had run off, and i couldn't hear much past my blaring heartbeat.

"Jack, we got a dead man here. Male, in his 20's." I hear somebody say vaguely.

"Any ID?" Another voice asks.

"Nope, his wallets gone."

Jack knelled in front of me, putting a hand on my shoulder. I came into focus and stare at him.

"You alright?" He asked.

I nod moving to stand, grabbing his hand so he could pull me up. Once on my feet i glance to were the blood was coming from and carefully take a few steps closer.
