~8 years later~

I walked around the streets of Cardiff, I was running late for my job as a waitress in a small diner. I absolutely hated it, but it paid the bills on my small flat. It was hard living alone but me and Luke had to do something for ourselves. Our little sister Sky had picked up traveling the world fighting the bad aliens, helping the good ones. Luke scored an important job at UNIT, head scientist or something like that. I turned the corner and sighed, they both did something amazing and I was stuck at the diner. I entered the diner punching the clock for the day and getting dressed in the bathroom. Apparently it was a slow day as even the lunch rush was smaller than normal.

I had two hours left when a group of people walked in. Five of them, one black-haired woman with brown eyes, one average man with light brown hair that was messy, another man who was slightly chubby and had slightly darker brown hair, a Japanese woman who was talking with the other woman who laughed. The strangest one who appeared to be in charge was a rather tall and fit man with dark brown hair, shocking blue eyes that seemed older than he was, and an old army jacket. They took a seat in a corner booth and started to chat. I put on my waitress smile and scooped up the menus, "Good afternoon, I am Isabella and I will be your waitress today. What can I get you to drink?"

'The boss' as I decided to call him gave me a rather flirtatious smile that made me blush, "Just water for us." he said in an American accent. I nod still blushing and hurry back into the kitchen getting the drinks and gulping, I walked back out and gave them their water. I take their order and serve their food. A few minutes later I hear the door open and close and look over, their food was half eaten and some money was tossed on the table.

I see the American's retreating figure but that isn't what gets my attention. The glint of metal and the way his hand was positioned gave it away. He had drawn his gun and was running down the street.
