A girl walked downtown; she did not want to bump to that man again. She felt tingling all over when she grabbed his hand. And worse, he saw her all bloody.

Right now she was clean. Same color dress, white, and this time she's wearing shoes. That day, she felt as if she got caught. She doesn't mean to do the things she does. It's not in her nature. But she can't help it. Her demon wants to crawl out.

The day she was born, they had decided to conceal her demon. They say it was too powerful. But now it wants out. She doesn't know how to control it anymore. Even more after bumping into that man. Her demon has been clawing to get out.

"Watch it!" The girl trembled at the yelling.

She needs to pay more attention to her surroundings. It was a few weeks ago when she had bumped into that man. And ever since then, she's been careful.

No one knows who the girl is with her long red hair, her pale skin, her blue eyes. She always wears white dresses. She wonders the street alone, not paying attention to anyone. No one has seen her before; she came here a month ago.

"Young lady?" She turned to the senior woman.

"Yes?" She whisper.

"Are you hungry?" The girl tilts her head to the side. She was hungry, but she didn't want to show she was desperate for food.

"I don't want to be a bother," the girl said.

"None sense come in," the girl follow the woman into her store. The store had antique, jewelry, and many more beautiful things. "I saw you walking around a few times, are you new here?"

"Yes," she merely said.

"Oh, I see, any family?" The girl didn't feel comfortable speaking of her family.

"I don't have none," that of course was a lie.

"Oh you poor thing, where are you staying?" The woman asked setting a trait of food in front of the girl.

"In a small cottage that's it the wood," the girl slowly began to eat. She was afraid.

"Oh dear, and all alone it's dangerous out there," the women wonder what is this poor girl was doing alone? "Why don't you stay with me?"

The girl looked up. Her blue eyes were shining brightly. And a bit of fear was showing.

"I don't want to bother you, nor be a burden," the girl said.

"Of course you won't, I have an extra room upstairs, I could use the company," the woman smiled.

"I'll think about it," the girl smile.

After she finished, she headed out the woman had told her to come back anytime. And to think about her offer. The girl said she would. By deep down, the girl didn't want to get close to anyone. Not while her demon is waking up. She fears she may hurt someone. But the woman was so, kind to her. No one has ever been kind. Almost all her life they mistreated her. She was a slave once. Just thinking about it, made her sad. It's why she ran. It's why she's alone in this town. No one wants her. They'll use her.

Walking back to her cottage, she picked a few flowers along the way. Once she was inside, she felt safe. The cabin was small. A table and two chairs, a tub, wardrobe, small cooking stove and a single bed to the side. And a small fireplace to keep warm during the night. She had only three thin blankets and two pillows. She had very few clothes. And two pairs of shoes. She didn't own much. But she prefers it like that. She lit the fireplace. It was cold out. Once it was going, she put a small bucket of water to heat up. When it was warm enough, she dumped it into the tub. She heats up a few more buckets of water. She was lucky to have a river nearby.

She undressed and stepped into the tub. The water warmed up her body. As she washed up images of the man, pop in. She wonders what that tingling sensation was. Did it mean something? She never felt them, when coming in contact with anyone else. But with the man, she thought them. The man had a worried look. Of course, he would, he saw her all bloody. It would worry anyone. He probably thinks she killed someone. Which indeed she did, but it was a demon she murdered one that was after her.

They have been coming to this land. Which she discovers, belong to dragons. So she'll be safe here at least until the Lord finds out a demon is hiding in his territory. She would be forced to leave, or worse get killed.

Being killed sounds better than leaving.

She won't go back, she has gone this far, and she isn't giving any of this up.

After washing up, she got out and dried herself. Since she didn't own any nightgowns, she slept bared which was terrible, since it was cold. Locking the door and close the windows, she turned the stove off and laid down. The fireplace will last for a few hours. She'll have to get up, once she feels the coldness.

She thought of the offer the woman made to her. She didn't want to be a burden. And she felt safe her in her cottage. And it's less chance she'll bump into the man.

If she moves with the woman, she knows it will be hundred percent she'll bump into the man again. And she did not want that. She didn't want to feel the way she felt before. It scared her. She's afraid it will mean something.

Moving those thoughts to the back of her mind, she concentrated on her sleep. Staring into the fire, she could feel the warmth of it. And the pain. It brought back dark memories. Memories she doesn't want to remember. Holding the blanket closer, she closed her eyes. Hopefully tomorrow she'll get lucky enough to get free food again. Maybe she could work for the woman. She'll ask tomorrow. It's better than nothing.

Drakor looked out the balcony. Saya is getting married today, after everything that has happened to her. She married Samuel. And now they are expecting a baby.

It seems he can't hope anymore. Saya is happily married.

Drakor sighed. All he has to do now is find the girl he bumped into his soulmate.

And he needs to find her fast. She was cover in blood. She could be hurt, or maybe it belonged to someone else.

His kingdom is essential, and he must protect them from any evil.

Drakor stared out that girl could be anywhere. But wherever she is hiding, he will find her.

No matter what it takes.
