"Aren't you a cutie," Taisha held Drago. "Look at you."

"Mother," Kanna sat on the ground planting a few flowers. "Are you sure? I mean living along will be lonely."

"I'll be alright," she said. "Besides Draken will be around. You're soon to be husband insisted on him following me around all the time."

"I know," Kanna stood. "I don't trust Draken, for all I know he wants to take you to bed. Mother, you don't have to leave the castle. you are not a bother."

"Kanna," she stroked her hair. "I know I am not a bother. But now that I am free I want to have my own home. I want to start a new life and do what I love best. And that is making clothing. You know that. And for me to start that I have to be closer to town. And your little home works for me."

"Okay," Kanna smiled. "But if you need anything don't hesitate to ask me. I want you to be happy. And if this is it, then I am happy too. But." She looked back at Draken talking to DRakor. "Do not fall for his tricks."

Taisha sighed if only Kanna knew she already fell for Draken tricks and that she and Draken have been sharing a bed almost every night for the last two months. But she doesn't dare tell Kanna not yet.

Taisha knows how she will react. "I'll be okay."

"Mom," Kanna smiled. "I do want you to find someone that will love you unconditionally, but Draken isn't that right one. Just know that."

She nod.

Drago began to fuss. "Here, I think he is sleepy." Kanna took him and cuddled him. Drago rubbed his eyes.

"It's okay sweetie," she smiled. "I got you."

Kanna is a great mother. Taisha is proud of her. "Visit me soon okay?"

"I will mother," Kanna said and hugged her.

"Ready to go?" Drakor walked over. Kanna nod. "Remember Draken, if Doryu roams around don't hesitate to send him away by force if needed."

"I will," Draken said. "Kanna, I am not like him. I will never hurt your mother. I do have my standards, I have my sister, so I know how to treat a woman."

"Okay," Kanna said. "Take care of her."

"I will," he smiled.

After they were gone Taisha went inside, and Draken followed. He hugged her from behind. "Draken."

"Its like she gave us permission," he said. "But I know it will take much more than that. And I promise I will win over your kids."

"Your sister is the other knight?" She asked.

"Yes," he said. "Libelle is my sister. And Ejdar isn't he is a strange man."

"Ah," she turned and kissed him. "Anyways, I'll get dinner ready. And no sex until later. Okay?" He nods.

"I never knew your daughter lived here," he said. "It amazes me how neatly she kept it and the fact that she restored it on her own."

"She is a strong girl," she said. "Whatever she sets her mind to, she does it. She got it from her father."

"But she has your looks," he sat down. "Your red hair and features. But her eyes, that's from your husband?"

"Yes," she smiled. "Sorry, it must be uncomfortable talking about my husband."

"It's not," he said. "He was your first love; I will never replace him. he will always be your first and the father of your children."

"You are a good man," she said and handed him a piece of apple. "I am sure Kanna will accept you. It's Dante I am worried about also he has been acting strangely. Do you know why?"
