I woke to some screams. I sat up, and Drakor wasn't in bed. I wonder what was going on. I was curious. I tried to stand, but Nika came out of nowhere and stopped me. "Shh, don't move." I looked at her. Her eyes were dragon-like.

"What is going on?" I asked. "What are those screams?"

"We are under attack," she said. "You ex-king is here and is looking for you."

I looked at her. "What?" I stood not caring what Nika said. I looked out the window, dark clouds were above the island, and I could see the lightning hit the ground. That was him. "My mother and brother?"

"Your mother is under the castle," she said. "She's in the rooms that are forbidden, remember I told you about them?" I nod. "All the villagers are being taken there for safety. You are here because Drakor didn't want to move you, he was afraid you would bleed out. But I can see you are fine now. But we can't go anywhere. So stay away from the windows." She closed the curtains. "Now sit, we shall wait for someone to come for us. Either Berith or your brother."

I nodded and sat there. I can't believe that man would come as far as attacking Drakor. And it's just like those years ago. That bastard.

I placed my hand on my belly. I don't want that man to hurt anyone else. If I turn myself in Drakor will go insane and risk his life to save me. I shook my head, no I will not think that. I will stay here until someone comes to get us.

The door rattle. Nika held a spear I didn't even know she had it. She placed her finger on her lips to not say a word. I sat there, and she went to the door.

Someone was trying to get in, and Nika came back. "That is the enemy." She said. "Drakor said the one who would come for us would knock. Now come on."

I nod and follow her to the wardrobe. She opened it and moved the clothes around, and there was a secret door. I didn't even know it was there. And I had reached in here many times. I must've had missed it.

Nika opened the door. "Go," she said. I nodded and went in Nika followed behind. I was glad she was coming. I didn't want to be alone. And I'm also happy I have clothes on. I sighed and came out to another room.

"What is this?" I asked.

"Some stairs go down to the garden," she said. "Now come on we can't stop for anything."

I nodded and followed her.

The stairs did lead out to the garden. I looked around and could see guards running around. Nika held my hand and didn't let go. We sneak about avoiding anyone even the guards.

"Where is Drakor?" I asked. "And where are we going?"

"He is fighting that man," she said. "And we are going to the mountains. That is the safest place for you."

"Okay," I said and looked back. I could see red, and I heard roars and saw dragons flying around. It's the first time I saw some. They look amazing.

"Those are the elders," Nika said. "They are keeping the demons away. So don't worry everything will be alright." I nod and gasp as a demon laned in front of us. Nika growled and held the spear pointing at him.

The demon growled and attacked. I moved out of the way only to get caught by him. "I finally found you, my love. You thought you could get away from me. You can never hide from me. I will always find you." He licked my cheek.

"Let go," I struggled. "You don't own me anymore. I belong to Drakor, king of the dragon. I slept with him various time. I'm his!"

"Lier!" He yelled and squeezed my breast tightly. " I will punish you for your lies." I look at Nika who was knocked out. The demon left, and I got dragged away. "You took them off; I never told you to take them off."

"You don't owe me," I said and bit him. But that didn't help. He dragged me away and past where the dragons where. A dragon looked at me and roar. I knew that was Drakor. He flew over with smaller dragons. Those must be the ones he told me about the ones that lay eggs. "Drakor!!"

"Be quiet!" He covers my mouth, and I bit his hand.

"You will never have me, Dean!" I yelled and elbowed him hard enough that he let me go. I ran toward the mountains.

"Come back here!" Dean yelled. "I will have you!"

I shouldn't be running like this, but I have too. I don't want Dean to catch me.

"Let me out," Kan said. "Let me rip is head off!"

I shook my head. "No," I said. "I will not kill. I don't want to kill again." Killing is an awful thing.

I do not want to kill again. I will instead let someone else do it. I kept running and started to climb the mountain. I could hear Dean behind me. I didn't look back because I don't want to see how close he was to me.

I winced as I placed my hand on thorns that were on the ground. I ignored the pain and kept running. I made it to the caves. They were like homes. I found some stairs and went up. And ended up at the top of the cave and I could see everything. And I saw Drakor dive down trying to get Dean. But Dean dodge.

I gasp as two smaller dragons flew around me. They circle me like they were protecting. I look down, and Drakor was human again fighting with Dean.

I wanted to help, but I would only be in the way. I kept watching and saw Dean stabbed Drakor on his chest. I gasp. I wanted to go down there, but the two smaller dragons didn't allow me. "Please let me go."

They blow fire around me to frighten me. I stayed in my spot now moving. They must be following Drakor's orders.

I looked down but didn't see Dean. Drakor was on the ground not moving. I was scared that he was dead.

"Finally," I looked back and saw Dean. I stepped back but stopped. I couldn't go any further. The ledge was there. I looked at him.

"I will not be yours," I said. "I will jump so stay away from me." The dragons blew fire at him.

That made him step back. "You think these dragons will protect you. And that I will let you jump." He laughed threw arrows at the dragons. Both fell and turn into small yellow stones. I picked them up and saw two little dragons inside. "Now come here and let's go home."

"No," I said. "I will never go with you." I looked down and gulped. If I jumped, I am dead. If I don't Dean will take me away.

I look back at him and glared. He kept advancing toward me. "You are going to be punished. I will make you suffer." I shook head.

"No," I said and jumped. Dean yelled. And I saw him reached out for me. He didn't get to catch me.

I fell head down. And as I was falling, I held on to the stones. It's the end for me. I will die, hopefully with no pain. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact. But that never came. All I felt was the wind.

I opened my eyes and looked up. "Drakor?" He looked at me. I smiled. "You're okay." I looked down; we were high above the ground. And I saw Dean trying to catch up to us.

He landed on top of the castle and set me down on the tower. I stumble a bit. He nudge me with his nose. I reached up and pat him. "I'm okay, don't worry about me." I kissed his nose.

He roared and looked back Dean  was there, he had crawled up the castle and stabbed Drakor's tail.

Drakor swings his tail trying to knock Dean off. But it was useless. Dean dodges every swing. I stepped back. Drakor stood in front of me protecting me.

I peeked, and Dean was all demonic. This won't end well, I just now it.
