"I cannot believe you have a cat in your bag. Do you carry him around everywhere?" Karlie picks up Oliver, who relaxed at her touch.
"He's kinda like a guardian angel. He's been around to help me out with high school, and nobody has noticed him but you." Taylor explains, reading another word that was glowing today. Voracious. At least it's not something bad.
"He's so cute. What's his name?" Karlie rubs the ball of white fur, the cat now purring. Taylor slams the book shut and puts it back into her bag.
"His name's Oliver Benson. Thank you for waiting on me for a second to look at that." Taylor takes Oliver and puts him back into the bag. Karlie covers her mouth and slightly giggles.
"Oliver Benson? Like Olivia Benson? That's actually funny!" Karlie lets out a jolly laugh. Taylor can't help but smile back at the taller blonde.
"He kinda named himself. I know that sounds weird, but he totally did." Taylor throws the bag back on and they walk to the lunch room together.
"Whatever that means. I'm glad we met this year Taylor. You're so nice." Karlie gushes. The singer gives her a small grin and a pat on the shoulder.
"Me too. You're the—" Taylor was toppled over by another familiar face. And it's not a good one.
Calvin Harris. Adam Richard Wiles.
"Oh my God—I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to—I uhm." Adam stood to his feet and helped Taylor stand to her feet.
"Hey Adam. Thanks for toppling over my friend. You alright Taylor?" Karlie fixes Taylor's shirt that was slightly raised from the fall. The smaller girl nodded her head. Adam griped his neck and his cheeks burned red.
"I'm sorry Taylor. I'm Adam Wiles, but every calls me Calvin. I hope I see you around?" Adam tries to hide his embarrassment from Taylor, now who had already sparked an interest for the female.
"Sure. See you around." Taylor mumbles, trying not to sound rude to the male. Adam slightly waves as he catches a football. He busts through the crowd and runs out the door.
"I wouldn't recommend talking to him,"Karlie says. "He's a player. He almost dated every girl in middle school. Except me." She continued to explain. Taylor cocked her eyebrows, giving Karlie a confused look.
"Why not you?" Taylor asked. Karlie gave a shrug as they finally made it to the lunchroom. Taylor scopes out the entire room, spotting a few other friends from the party. Gigi was sitting with Lily, who was with a group of other girls. Selena was sitting alone, reading a book.
"I'm going to go through the line. You want anything Taylor?" Karlie grabs her wallet from her pocket and fishes out a 10 dollar bill.
"No, I'm good. Thanks for the offer though." Taylor turns down the understanding girl.
"Okay. Well, our table is in the corner at the back. So you can go chill with them or walk with me through the line." Karlie points to the corner where all of her friends from gym were there, with a few others.
"Uh, I think I'll find my other friend and then sit down. Thank you for being so nice to me." Taylor gives Karlie a quick hug. Karlie's face burns a light red, already knowing where this is heading. She knew she was already getting feelings for the older girl and she didn't know why.
"No— no problem. See you later." Karlie breaks the hug and gives me a salute. She jumps in line with a few other familiar models. Taylor shakes her head as she walks to the nerdy table on the opposite side of Karlie's table.
Abigail was sitting there, doing her homework. Taylor could remember days of her sitting at this table, usually gossiping about the table beside them. Which they were no better than they were, but it was just something they did.
"Hey Tay! You finally made it. We were getting kinda worried—" Abigail stops mid sentence when she sees the other girls at Karlie's table call Taylor over.
"I met them all in gym class. They're really nice people and I kinda have to be friends with them— I wish I could explain Abby. I would sit with you, but I have to sit with them." Taylor rambles, trying not to be rude to her best friend. Abigail gives her a shocked look, surprised her best friend doesn't want to sit with her.
"It's fine Taylor. We'll be alright without." Abigail sadly says. Taylor lets out a rough huff and fixes her bag.
"You could always come sit with me." Taylor tries to ask, but Abigail just shoos her off. Taylor can't help but feel bad.
"See you around Taylor." Abigail continues to look at her homework and starts answering questions.
Taylor bites her lip as she walks over to Karlie's table. She walks by Selena, who was alone. Selena was reading a book, titled Voracious. Taylor shook her head as she knew she couldn't approach her just yet.
Taylor finds a seat at Karlie's table as the group of friends welcome her. Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, Doutzen Kroes, Cara Delevingne, Derek Blasberg and Toni Garrn sat at the table. Cara was busily shoving her face, completely indulging everything on her plate.
"HethTathlor. Welcum ta tha tablth." Cara says, her mouth full of food. Jourdan throws her a napkin as she wipes her mouth.
"Nice to meet you! I'm Derek and that's Toni." Derek reaches his hand out to the other side of the table to reach Taylor. They shake hands as Toni slightly waves. Karlie sits down beside Taylor, with a oddly fresh salad. Which isn't typical for a school.
"I'm glad you've made Taylor welcome. She's literally the nicest person ever." Karlie smiles at me as she opens her salad box.
"It's nice to meet all of you."

You've met a lot of characters in one chapter, I know. But if you know Karlie Kloss pretty well, these names should be familiar.
You've also met an antagonist. Trashcan Harris!
Aren't you excited? I'm not!
I'm just kidding I'll see what I can do with him to make the situation harder.
Karlie is developing feelings already! You know alternate universes can't keep them apart.
Kloss is boss.
-Mallery literally wrote this the same day as chapter 3
