I stand there in awe for more than enough time was needed. I finally get a grip on reality and run towards my sister before hugging her tightly.

"I've missed you so much." I say into her shoulder.

I hear her chuckle. "And I've missed you lady bug."

Pulling out of her tight embrace and she looks at me before caressing my cheek. "You've grown so much since I've seen you last. So beautiful."

I smile shyly. "You too. And look at you with your LA tanned skin and your wavy hair. What's life like as a lawyer? Have you met anybody special?" I wiggle my eyebrows at her suggestively.

She smiles shaking her head. "Busy as ever and I may have."

"What do you mean 'you may have'? Tell all the details." I grab her hand and we walk into the living room.

"Well, there's this guy his names Eli and he's in the Marines." I watch as her eyes become dreamy at the thought of him. "We met when I was in Hawaii on this girls trip with some friends I met in LA and he was stationed there. There was this lovely beachside bar and dancing. I was sitting at the bar as my friends were dancing and he came up to me and we started to talk, he made me laugh then we danced all night."

I smile deeply as I watch Melinda talk in a trance about Eli and I can tell that she loves him also by the sound of it, he's madly in love with her as well. I couldn't be more happy for my sister.

"Wait. Why would you move farther from him then? Wouldn't that strain your relationship?" I start to worry for my sister and her happiness as these questions flood my mind.

"Oh no. We are very much in love to the point any distance couldn't change that."

I smile in slight relief but I silently worry for Melinda and Eli.

She shows me pictures of them together and my worries evaporate. The way they look at each in the photos.

To be so lucky.

She deserves it. Melinda is a good person and great lawyer. She's beautiful with her long light brown that she's recently highlighted. Her skin is of a caramel complexion and her chocolate brown eyes always hold a kindness to them. She always smiles which I think is what makes her even more beautiful. She's always done well in school and never has been a partier. She, along with me, is really close to our brother. Well, when you think about it all three of us are very close. Melinda knows about all that Noah has be through with the stuff at school and our father.

I think that's also why she left. To get away from everything. I mean so did Noah but he didn't go that far. It's like there's something that holds him back and keeps dragging him back to the city. Melinda was always one for an adventure but she's also very responsible and her career comes first.

"So when's dinner tonight?" She asks getting up and walking towards the kitchen.

Lana our maid walks into the kitchen and starts making tea without a word.

"It should start around 8:00 tonight but we're not having it here." I notice her confusion but call Lana instead. Once she walks back into the kitchen I ask her to serve our tea.
