Walking to my favorite coffee shop with Kara I start to think about Thursday nights revelations. Of course I told Kara along with Ana what happened include with Alex. I did leave out Noah and I's conversation when I told Ana. She couldn't come with us today because she doesn't like going to Brooklyn which is beside me. Kara lives here and I love going to the coffee shop  down a couple buildings down from her apartment.

Ring Ring Ring

I look down at my phone and see its Alex calling.

Again

This is the twentieth time he's called me since two nights ago.

Reaching to press my phone I hit ignore.

"You should really answer the poor boy." I give Kara a look and sigh to myself. "Evie he's been calling you nonstop."

Don't you think I know that.

Ever since that night I've been trying to forget about him all together but between reporters and tabloids with his face plastered on them I can't seem to get away and it doesn't help when he continues to call me.

"He screwed up. Multiple times might I add and I'm sick & tired of trying so hard. I don't know why I let it go on this far anyway." It's true I don't understand why I let go on this far. I mean I had to have known it was gonna end sometime.

It's better that it's sooner than later.

Ring Ring Ring

21 times now.

"Please pick it up. He at least deserves to be told it's over. Even if it's over the phone." She's right. I hate to admit it but she it is.

Taking a deep breath I press the green answer button on my phone the hold it to my ear.

"What?"

"You answered." I hear the disbelief in his voice and I have to fight urge not to smile.

We arrive at the coffee shop and Lara pulls the door open and I walk in after her as she holds open the door for me.

Thank god there's no line.

"That's why you called isn't?" I try to make my voice as cold as possible and I hope it has affect.

I walk up to the cashier and tell her my order before paying.

"Can you order me an iced coffee?" His voice is casual.

"Shit." Kara turns to me with confusion written on her facial expression.

"Is everything okay?"

No everything is not okay.

"He's here." I look around me and at my surroundings trying to find him.

"I don't-oh." She stops what she's about to say and looks behind me causing me to turn around.

Fuck.

Excuse my language.

Alex stands approximately twelve inches from where I'm standing. Just one foot away from where I'm standing. For some reason he's smiling and it just makes me even more irritated with his actions.

A throat clears and I turn around to see Kara with a cup in her hand. "Do you want me to go without you?"

At the same time I say 'no' Alex says 'yes'.
