IM BACK!!!! :)Hey guys I'm sorry I have been updating at all and I'm so truly sorry but I do have school and that does come first after all. Plus lately I've been having such a dry spell with this story and I would really appreciate it if you would leave comments throughout the chapters even speaking for past chapters.
That would be great you guys thank you.***************
I look through the columns of books looking for something interesting but nothing catches my eye except one thing."What's making you so happy?" Alex asks leaning against the book cases on my right side. He takes lock of my brown hair twisting it playfully with his finger.
I don't look his way because I know by his voice that if I look at him in the eyes I will melt completely.
So instead I shake my head.
"No reason." But I'm still smiling as I speak.
I feel a tug on my hand before I'm turned and my back is now to the row of books. I know what he's thinking and I kept help the fluttering moving through my stomach a the thought.
"What are you doing?" He smirks at my question and lifts up my body and in reaction I automatically wrap my legs around his waist.
He doesn't answer instead stead he kisses me which is more than enough for an answer to my question. My hands tangle in his hair as I taste his lips on mine. Mint and he smells of cologne which drives me absolutely crazy,in a great way. His hands kneed further in my hips and presses closer against the book case causing me to moan. Alex smiles against my lips at my reaction and I want to roll my eyes pulling away. Alex groans and I laugh at his now pouting reaction.
"We're in public." My voice fails me as my words come out in a heavy whisper.
"And?"
"And there's photographers outside. They could see us."
He scoffs. "They get paid for exposing merely every detail of people's life, I don't they deserve the respect of us calling the photographers. They could see us and it wouldn't matter. You know why?" I did but I wanted to hear him say it out loud so I shake my head. He smiles knowing that I do know but says it anyway. "Because your mine."
I smile widely before kissing him softly on the lips. His eyes are focused on mines in awe and maybe it's because of how puffy they are now.
"Oh, Dalloway don't get so mushy on me." I tease pinching his cheeks.
He shakes his head laughing.
"Trust me, I'll be as rough as you want." He smirks pulling into him. "Come on let's get out of here."
We run.
Literally speaking.
We run as fast we could out through the library to find any back exit until we do.
The exit leads to an alleyway which of course I'm not too fond of but under the circumstances I don't think it's a time to contemplate.
Our feet rush against the pavement until when our in sync heavy breathes are coherent to each other.
The weather was warm and the sky was so clear that you had to worry about was the sun in your eyes.
This moment is perfect. This moment is ours.
Alex's gaze becomes fixated on mine and all I can do is form a small smile.
He returns the smile before reaching for my hand once again as we step back out into the public.
It's safe.
The coast is clear and we walk hand in hand down the sidewalk.
I knew deep down that this moment wouldn't last forever but I didn't want to think about the future all I want to do is think about right now. And right now I'm with Alex.
Alex.
Just the thought of him makes my mind jumble. Everything becomes so complicated. When with him all I can think of is the future.
I hope it includes him.
But I couldn't let my silly thoughts get in the way of us.
I can't help it though.
I can't help but ruin happiness by overthinking and worrying. That's why I can't tell Alex because then I definitely won't be able to take it back when the words ramble and I'll scare him away.
I look up slightly to my right and he looking straight ahead. He looks as though he doesn't have a care in the world.
His skin is especially sun-kissed today due to the newly summer weather. I watch him. Every inch. From the way his face contorts or from the way his jaw loosens as words flood out of his mouth.
He's talking.
Pay attention, Evie!
I scowl to myself and bring myself out my trance to listen to Alex.
"I'm sorry what did you say? I wasn't paying attention." My voice comes out as an apology but maybe that's how I wanted it.
"I was just wondering if you were hungry." He smirks at my cluelessness but tries to hide it with a small smile.
"Starved." I reach my arms up to wrap around his neck which includes me dropping his hand. He reacts on impulse and wraps his arms around my waist pulling me closer to his body.
"Keep tempting me and we won't be eating." He teases just before his lips meet mine.
His lips are soft but that's nothing new. His lips move against mine in need...or maybe my lips are and he's just reacting.
At his words I pull away from him quickly causing him to groan. After playfully rolling my eyes I pull him to the nearest food place.
I wasn't joking when I said I was starving.
"Your such a boner killer." I hear him mutter under his groaning tone.
"Keep talking like that and you'll be kissing your pillow." I chuckle before transforming my face in a serious manner.
We walk into the small restaurant and take our seats as cool air fills the indoors. The sun is the only thing light supporting that runs through this place.
Hmmm. Natural light?
I like.
No. I love.
Alex's voice speaks breaking the silence as he responds.
"Anything for you."
