prom (Calvin the Asian)

You sighed as you pulled up to the school. You really didn't want to be there and hear about how many people were going to prom, and see all the flyers and shit. You wanted to go, but you weren't going alone and all your friends had dates. You didn't have anybody to go with.

As you arrived at your locker, you saw your crush, Calum standing there. You smiled at him. "Hey Cal." You said. "Hey y/n" he answered. "What's up?" You asked, putting in your combo quickly and pulling open the locker. "I actually wanted to ask you something." He told you. "Go for it." You replied.

"So, uh, prom's coming up." He started, nervously scratching the back of his neck. You nodded. "Yeah, I know." You rolled your eyes. You didn't want the reminder.

"I was kinda wondering..." He trailed off. "If you're here to ask about one of my friends, they all have dates" you informed him as you got the books and supplies you needed for first period. He sighed. "Good for them. I'm not after them." He told you. "Oh?" You asked, looking at him as you closed your locker. He was lightly biting his lip.

"I was actually gonna ask you if um, you uh, wanted to like, go with me?" He asked, looking at you. He was so nervous, it was so adorable. "Yeah!" You chimed. "R- really?" He asked. You nodded and he smiled.
