roller coaster (Cal)

Nervously, you stood in line. Somehow, your boyfriend had convinced you to get on this huge roller coaster that had no appeal to you at all, and and you were actually pretty terrified. It was the first time you'd been on a roller coaster.

He held your hand, trying to calm you down. And it helped a bit, but you were still terrified.

When it was your turn to get on, your heart was beating very quickly.

You pulled the protective thingy over you and Calum, and you each fastened the little seatbelts.

More people loaded on and the ride attendants went around checking everyone's safety measures.

When the coaster took off, you took some deep breaths.

Cal had his arm around your waist, holding you close as you gripped his arm.

"It's okay, baby." He told you when you reached the top of the lift hill. You could see the parking lot of the amusement park, and it scared you.

When the coaster went flying down the hill, you gasped loudly and squeezed Calum's arm tighter.

There were no loops in the coaster, and you were very thankful for that.

However, you weren't thankful for how fast the coaster was going or how steep a few of the hills were.

Finally, the coaster stopped and you quickly got out, your legs feeling like jelly.

"That wasn't so bad, was it?" He asked.

"Shut up." You said.

He laughed and kissed your cheek, taking your hand again before you guys continued to something else.
