Chapter Nineteen: Something is wrong with Justin

Lucy's P.O.V.

I sighed as i closed my books. "Are we done now?" i asked my tutor, Alex. He chuckled at me and nodded.

"I'll see you tomorrow. Same time" he stood up.

I nodded, shoving my books in my bag as i heard his footsteps going to the door of my hotel room.

Only on his early forties he was quite a good looking man. Alex has been my tutor for over a month now.

We were currently in New York right now. Justin had three shows here, the first one being tomorrow.

It's been over a month since that night, since that little agreement of ours.

We've been in a really good terms since then.

I mean we act as friends, which is what we are.... at nights tho when no one can see us we pay a visit on each others bedrooms.

We're not sleeping together if that's what you're thinking.

We basically just .... talk.

About life in general.

We might share a few kisses then and there but nothing too serious. Just comforting each other when we really need it.

Speaking of Justin, i haven't seen him since last night. We were suppose to meet but he came late from rehearsal so i didn't go to his room. I knew he must have wanted to sleep and get some rest so i let him be.

Although it's only been a day i kind of missed him.

Word is out that tonight is Chris Brown's birthday party.

I guess i won't be able to see him tonight either cause obviously he will be going.

I sighed as i took a peak on my watch. It was lunch time and we have arrange to all meet at the hotel's dinning area and have some quality time all together.

It still seems unreal.

Being around his crew.

Around all those famous people joining his tour.

Around all those people working for him.

Being around him, in general.

I grabbed my phone and headed to the elevator, pressing the button to the second floor where the dinning room was.

"Hey" i mumbled awkwardly as i enter the room, all eyes being on me since i must be the only one arriving that late.

I took my seat next to Kenny and played with my thumbs, waiting for someone to say something.

"Now that we are all here, let's start eating" Scooter spoke up first.

You could hear people talk from all over the room, deeply in their conversation as they were enjoying their food.

I decided to do the same.

"So how was the tutoring?" Kenny asked me.

"Oh, you know. Good" i simply shrugged.

"Alex told me you were doing just fine" Pattie beamed excited.

I smiled at her. "I like doing good in school. It's about my future and i take this very seriously" i explained.

"Now, that's some mature answer." Pattie turned to look at Justin. "You should learn from her" she eyed him.

Justin chuckled. "I already have a career mum. I'm twenty. I'm over school. I make more money that all kids together could never do in just this life. I think she should learn from me" he smirked, his eyes flickering to meet mine.
