28. The passageways

Hoshi PoV
After hugs, we showed them around the house, and where their room is. We headed back to the library. 'Do you guys hear that humming sound?' Haru asked us. I nodded and followed the sound. It seems to be coming from the top of one of the wrap-around shelves. We climbed the ladder and I saw a small hatch. I laugh nervously. 'Guess this is one of those Secret passages I accidentally threw in there when during the spell' I said awkwardly, rubbing the back of my neck, before opening the hatch and crawling in. They follow closely behind me but it's a tight squeeze, never have I ever been SOOO glad to small ALL OVER! *wink-wink* "How exactly do you 'accidentally' 'throw in' hidden passageways?" They grunted as we when though a tight part. I saw the next part was so slim I would have to walk sideways, way too tight a squeeze for them! I told them to stay there before going ahead. If the passageway were anything like the ones I designed and secretly made with Virgo's help...which I TOTALLY DIDN'T DO! *nervous laugh* YOU HEARD NOTHING! Then there would be a chute or another way for people would weren't a tiny genius, AKA everyone else who wasn't me and LJ's size, could go though. But it was hidden so no one could navigate or get though unless someone was showing there the way. I got though and sure enough there was a chute big enough for my sisters to go in at the same time. I smile and crawl in. Clinging to the rungs above the slide itself, I reach the top within a minute. I look down at the slide, it was 20 feet high and 25 feet long. The top was high enough for my sisters to stand up straight. I take 5 steps forward. And find a ladder that lead to the 'ground floor' where my sisters were, and higher than where I was and had slides leading to other floors no doubt. I noticed a small marking on the wall, and lightly touched it. A fire men's pole dropped down from the highest point all the way down. I also noticed it had a small hook. The wall next to the marking opened up exposing a chair I could attach if I wasn't in the mood to slide down it was in an elevator shaft that was probably connected to the top of the pole shaft that will bring it to top of the shaft and will come down to the floor the pole is activated from. I connect the chair to the hook. And loop my arms though the poles on the sides. Time for the complicated start up! I think to myself before kicking the wall, sending me down the pole spinning like a twister. I screamed

With delight! I always loved the ideals of Rollercoasters on Earthland. Going fast and sudden dives. And I think this is a pretty good proximity to them as no one seems knows how to make a good one here! And by that I mean I asked my parents to make me one and they gave me a lame kiddy ride, even for a normal 6 year old. Going back to ride down. The bottom of the chair had a cushion that kept the chair and my backside from shattering into tiny pieces. I un-looped my arms from the bars and opened the one-sided door. What I hadn't realized was they were leaning against it and they fell on top of me, almost squishing me under their combined weight which wasn't really that much but combined and with my tiny body it was heavy. 'Sorry!' They said scrambling off before helping me up. They looked at the chair. When the pole came down the ladder went into an another compartment. I walked over to the chair and slid out two extra seats, one on either side. I motioned them to sit down. They do and I loop their nearest arm though the bar. And then hold their other hand, they'll need it. 'Hey, could one of you two push us off, by kicking the wall really hard?' I asked. Haru nodded and did so. And then regretted it. We spun so fast, I almost vomited. And. I. Loved. It. 🤗 😉 🤓Meanwhile, my sisters' were screaming their heads off and hugged me for dear life but I just squealed in delight. By time we slowed they were shaking. I looked down. We were too high. 'I'll fix it!' I chirped. Before attempting to kick the wall but they stopped me. I rolled my eyes. 'Fine' I huffed pouting slightly. 'But we are too high. If you don't want to go down the normal way, you're going to have to walk it down.' I said crawling onto Tsuki's lap to demonstrate. I firmly plant my feet against the wall, while my arms were wrapped around my sister's waist. I was laying on my side and was facing towards the seat itself. I experimentally walked forward while looking down. We went up a pinch. I quickly flipped over and walked the other way double checking my work. We went down. I sighed in relief and got back in my seat. 'Haru you face the seat; Tsuki face the walls.' I instructed. They did so happily, so they wouldn't have to kick off. They walked it down to the right level. I help keep the seat As they walk across the seat I follow close behind and hit the switch. The pole and seat go high up and the ladder popped back out. "THERE WAS A LADDER THE WHOLE TIME!" They yelled. "I hit the marking here to see what it did and you can't deactivate it from a different level." I say defending myself. They sighed and took my hands. I smiled and dragged them down the chute after me.
