Don't Tell Anyone

Twelve

"Don't tell anyone."

Misaki didn't care. She wanted to tell someone.

"ASAKA, PLEASE KILL ME!!" Misaki moaned on the phone.

"Wow, what made you so desperate?" Asaka's amused voice rang at the other end of the line.

"Who's that, Asaka?" Misaki heard Ren ask her. Asaka replied it was Misaki.

"HI, MISAQ. DID YOU MISS ME ALREADY?" Ren shouted.

"Please get rid of him, Asaka. I don't want other people to know about my crappy love life." Misaki plopped down onto her bed, and covered her eyes with the back of her hand.

"Did Kai finally do something?" Ren asked.

"What?"

"What?" Asaka and Misaki asked in unison.

"Ne, ne, Asaka put the phone on speaker. I want to gossip with you girls too!" Misaki could hear the phone being snatched away by Ren.

"So.... What actually happened?" Asaka asked.

"So did Kai kiss you? Did he ask you on a date? Oh my god, did he do the dirty?" Ren rambled like a girl, purposely faking a high pitched voice.

"Why the hell are you bringing Kai into this conversation?" Misaki furrowed her eyebrows.

"What does her love life have anything to do with Kai?" Asaka asked him.

"Eh? I thought everyone knew Kai likes MisaQ." 

Misaki's eyes widened and she sat up in surprise.  She could imagine Ren frowning at the other end of the  line. "Where the  hell did that come from?"

"You got it wrong, Ren. Everyone knows Miwa likes Misaki. Oh, is that why you're calling?" Asaka asked her.

"Oh yeah! I totally forgot about Miwa. I don't like that guy. The both of them would need to fight over you."

"Why the hell do you know Kai likes me?"

"Because it was obvious?"

Misaki scoffed. "And you can't even tell that Asaka likes you."

"MISAKI!!" Asaka shouted. Misaki could feel her blush from the telephone.

"And Kai wouldn't like anyone. Can you imagine it?" Misaki said.

"Yes, I can. He said he wanted to make you his princess." Ren chirped.

"That's something you would say, not Kai!" Misaki argued but she could feel her face heat up. "Miwa asked me out. I don't know what to do now."

"DO NOT GO OUT WITH HIM. YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO GO OUT WITH KAI. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!!!" Ren shouted through the phone, making Misaki tear her phone away from her ear.

"Shut up, Ren. I called Asaka, not you."

"ASAKA!!" Ren fake cried. "Misaki bullied me."

"You could just tell him you're not interested." Asaka suggested, ignoring Ren who was hugging her and fake crying.

"I tried but he asked me to give him a chance."

"So give him a chance. Once won't hurt right?"
