Fourteen

"Asaka!!!!" Misaki groaned when Asaka picked up the phone.

"So how did it go?"

"Are you in a room with Ren right now?" Misaki asked beforehand.

"HI MISAQ!!!" Ren shouted.

"Well that answered you question." Asaka said.

"Well, can you not be in the same room as him?"

"Why not, MisaQ?" Ren asked.

"Because I don't want to hear your silly comments." Misaki said flatly.

"Just spit it out, Misaki."

"Fine! I became Kai's girlfriend."

There was a three second silence on the other side of the line before the both of them starting breaking their speakers.

"WHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTT?" 

"Kai has finally grown up." Ren sniffed. "I'm going to kill him for lying to me!" He said a second later.

"Why does going on a date with Miwa end up with you being Kai's Girlfriend?" Asaka repeated the question that has been going on her mind for the past few hours.

"I don't know. One minute I'm wishing I could get the date over with already and the next minute I became Kai's girlfriend."

"Okay, spill the details."

And she did. Every single one from the minute she stepped out of the house.

"Damn Misaki, you got it rough. We should have a girl's day tomorrow to let out all your frustrations. Plus I need a new wardrobe and since you're now dating Kai..... Well, you'll need one." Asaka concluded.

"Please don't remind me about that again."

"Ooh!! Can I be the bag carrier?" Ren asked.

"Seriously?" Misaki asked.

Asaka being the lovesick girl replied. "Of course you can."

"Can I ask Kai to come too?"

"Asaka said it was a girls day, not a double date." Misaki pointed out to the red headed idiot.

"Then we'll have our boys day and you'll have your girls day." Ren said.

"Didn't you say you were going to carry our bags?"

"Sure I am. Kai too."

"I DO NOT WANT KAI TO COME!" Misaki emphasized loudly.

"BUT I WANT KAI TO COME!" Ren pouted.

"SINCE WHEN IS THIS ABOUT YOU??" 

"OKAY, THAT'S ENOUGH YOU TWO." Asaka shouted. "I'll meet you at the train station at eleven tomorrow. I'll deal with Ren. Good night!"

Misaki sighed. "Good night, Asaka, Ren."

When the line went dead, Misaki shouted into her pillow. Since when did her life get so messed up?

Then she thought about Kai. What was Kai thinking? Her being his girlfriend? The idea was absurd. How did it even get into his mind? Wit his good looks he could have so many other girls, so why her?

"Be mine and only mine."

He sounded so possessive, like she had to be his, no matter what. The idea sent shivers of excitement down her spine and her stomach was twitching uncontrollably. Her mind wandered to the kiss and she put her fingers on her lips, remembering the sensation of his lips pressing against hers, it made her wanting more.

Misaki shook her head wildly, hoping to shake the thoughts out of her head.

That did not work of course, she couldn't even sleep for the rest of the night..
