Chapter 1

It was a beautiful New Years Eve morning and The sun was beaming bright in my face. Then it hit me. I was leaving my family home today.

I was heading to the Music College of London and had agreed not to start in the New Year. I was heading to live with my uncle Caspar and his roommate, which was nice as they were only a year older than me. They said I could stay till I found a place of my own. However long it took me.

I filled the car, said my goodbyes and hit the road towards London.

Once I arrived I opened the door and smiled at the sight of Caspar and his roommate Alfie. Surprisingly, everything was prepared for me when I arrived and only needed to unpack.

"Hi, I'm Charlotte I'm Caspar's barely younger niece." I said to Alfie reaching out my hand for him to shake. "Hi I'm Alfie, I'm his roommate and I make YouTube videos for a living." He replied. We sat for a while, catching up with. Caspar and getting to know Alfie.

It got to about 8pm and we were still talking and had been since half 3. "So your into music?" He asked. Before I could reply, there was a loud knock at the door. Caspar went to answer it realising something as he did. He turned to me and Alfie worriedly while griping the handle. "Alfie did you cancel that thing?" He asked concerned. "No I thought you did!" And Caspar shook his head. They both turned towards me " we kinda planned a New Years party but should have cancelled it but kinda forgot." He said. I began to interrupt "that's fine. Let it commence it will be nice to celebrate New Years and meet more of your friends." I stated slightly surprised. "Okay then" Caspar opened the door and people began to pile in. I'm pretty sure I saw one of the boys staring at me as he walked in and heard him mutter under his breath "who's that? She's so cute." And I felt myself begin to blush.

I ran to my room got changed and touched up my make up before making my way back to the lounge. I saw him again, staring at me. Why? I went to Caspar and questioned him "who's that? He keeps staring at me." He replied " that's Joe Sugg, Zoe Sugg's sister they're massive on YouTube. Have you never heard of them?" I shook my head as if ashamed. 

Caspar walked away and I saw Joe getting closer and closer until he was by my side. "I don't think we've met" he mentioned. "Hi I'm Joe Sugg, aka ThatcherJoe on YouTube." He began to giggle. I turned to face him " hi I'm Charlotte, I'm Caspar's niece I'm staying here for a whi-" Before I could finish, Alfie walked over with his arms around a girl. "Hi, I'm Zoe aka Zoella I don't think we've met. I'm Alfie's girlfriend so I thought I should get to meet you if we're going to be around each other. Oh and so will my brother here probably." She motioned.

I replied back with the same reply as I had done all night. "Hi I'm Charlotte ." I smirked. She went to the subject of YouTube. "Do you watch any youtubers by any chance?" She questioned motioning towards herself. "No" I replied. "I barely get much free time what with college and music and practice and everything." "Oh so you play? What exactly?" She began excitedly. "I play piano, guitar, bass, violin and flute. Oh and I also sing and write." I finished. "Wow! That's amazing! Do you know what you should do? Join YouTube you can release music and covers and everything!" She continued.

"I don't know... ill think about it" "Oh. Okay then." Sounding as if she were sad or bummed out. "It's great that you have such an amazing talent. Put it to use. I've always wanted to learn an instrument but never could." I began to think "anything in particular." I questioned. "Well yeah. Piano. I've always loved it." I began to get exited as I replied to her. "How about I teach you then? I mean I have to wait for my instruments but if you like you can give me your number and we can organise something?"  "Yay!" She chirped. It's......" she then turned around and said goodbye with her hand intertwined with Alfie's as he walked her to her car.
