Chapter 18

Tanya's POV:

I kissed Jim passionately as he was wheeled out towards the scan room. I took a seat and waited nervously for his return.

He finally returned an hour later and I went to his side. "Jim! How did it go?" I asked the nurse. He kissed me and looked questioningly towards the nurse too. "We're just waiting for the results. We will receive them soon. Don't worry." We nodded and she headed out as me and Jim got into conversation. "Don't worry about me. Don't worry about it, i'll be fine." Jim took me into his arms and held me tight. "Oh by the way, I called your Mum when we got here, told her. I told her to stay at home and i'd update her so shall I call her now?" He let go and nodded. I took out my phone and took his hand.

"Hi Judy? Yeah, Jim's awake. They don't know what's wrong with him but he's just got back from an MRI so we're just waiting for the results. I'll put him on." I handed Jim the phone and left to grab a drink while they spoke.

I returned and Jim had finished so he reached for my hand and took me into his arms once again.

"Mr Chapman? We received your results." We took a deep breathe and I took a seat beside him. "It seems you have a stomach ulcer. It's highly treatable and will soon be gone. We will prescribe some medication and you can go home!" Jim squeezed my hand and I took a deep breathe. "Thank you." He said to her and she headed back out. "So that's good news then." He breathed nervously. He kissed me once again and went to get changed.

"Okay so you are free to go. Take one of these three times a day and you will have another checkup in two weeks or so, but come back if it gets worse." We thanked her and left. "What do you want to do?" Jim asked swinging my hand. "What do you want to do bobs?" "Home, movies and blankets?" Jim asked like a child. "You read my mind." I giggled and he picked me up and spun me round.

We arrived home and I went to grab the blankets while Jim took some medication. We headed to the living room and sat cuddled together trying to decide on a film. That took about 20 minutes and we just watched films from then on for the rest of the day.

The next day I woke up in bed next to a fluffy haired Jim. He was just staring at the ceiling. "Jim you okay?" He lifted his arm and pulled me closer, putting his arm around me and placing my head on his chest. "Yeah, I guess. You?" I nodded and he kissed my head. "Did you carry me in last night?" I asked and he giggled. "Yeah, the rooms literally there!" He laughed. I looked up and kissed him passionately.

"Marcus and Niomi are going to Joe's today if we want to go." I mentioned teasing him by breaking the kiss. "What time?" He asked. "2" I admitted. "Well it's 9 now..." He laughed and pulled the covers over our head and began to kiss me with more passion and lust.

It was getting close to 1 so we got up, collected the clothing from the floor and I headed towards the bathroom. Jim following close behind. "What are you doing?" I giggled. "Showering with my fiancee... is that okay with her?" He asked jokingly. He was really obsessed with me and I wasn't sure why. "I don't know, you'd have to ask her." I teased. "Can I shower with you Miss Tanya Burr? My beautiful fiancee?" I giggled at his cuteness. "Of course you can Mr Jim Chapman. My gorgeous fiance."

We eventually finished and headed towards Joe's.

"Did you take your tablet?" I asked Jim and he nodded. "Yep! I have them on me so I can take one at Joe's later." We got to Joe's and knocked on the door. "Hiya Joe. How are you?" I asked. "I'm good thanks Tan. You?" He replied. "I'm great." I smiled walked past him to let Jim in. "Hiya Jim. How are you feeling?" They man hugged and I went to see the others inside. "I'll tell you inside. It's cold isn't it?" Jim asked Joe and I laughed at him.

"Congrats you two!" I squealed to Narcus. "Thanks Tan!" I ran towards them and hugged them. "You alright Jim? I heard what happened last night." Marcus asked and we all engaged in conversation as Zoe came back to join us. "Well it seems that I have a stomach ulcer so I was lucky Joe took me in otherwise there was a chance they wouldn't have found it. They gave me these painkillers and yeah. Thanks Joe." Jim spoke. "Of course Jim. At least it's not something worse ay? What was I supposed to do anyway? Just leave you there?" He asked sarcastically.

"How are you Zo?" I asked. "Good as I can be I guess." She sighed. "What happened?" Narcus asked in sinc. "I lost my baby." She sighed and they went to hug her. "I'm sorry Zoe." They said saddened. "Should we go get some food?" Zoe chirped and we all nodded. "What do you want to get?" Jim asked us all while he was swinging my hand. "Pizza?" Me and Zoe said at the same time as we all burst into laughter.

A/N Sorry for the time skips! Also sorry it's a bad update. :( I just wanted to get one up for you guys and thank you for over 700 views! It means so much to me.

I am already writing the next chapter and I will try to make it better like Jim gets the results back of the cancer test? So keep your eye out for that!
