Jessie's Point of View
The rest of the week goes by as expected. Buck won't talk to me. He barely even looks my way. When he does, he usually has a dark expression on his face. Jeff has been going after me almost every night and not just in the bedroom. Whenever the urge hits, he takes me wherever we are in the house. It's been a long week between Buck, work, and Jeff. Finally, it's Friday and I can at least leave two of the three behind me for the weekend. As soon as Jeff and I get home, I go straight to the shower, then prepare supper right after.
As we sit down to eat together, Jeff looks over at me. "Hey. I wanna take you somewhere tonight."
"Really? Where?" I'm a bit unsure if I really want to know.
"You'll have to wait and see." He has an unreadable expression on his face.
"Oh...O-Okay"
We finish eating and I go get ready to leave.
"Hey!" I hear his voice calling me from the living room.
"Yeah?" I quickly answer back.
"You need to tie your hair back."
"Okay." I tie my hair back and braid it, so it doesn't come loose, then head into the living room.
"Here put this on...it's a little cool out." He hands me a black hoodie and a pair of black leather gloves. "Oh, and leave your hair tucked inside your hoodie."
I nod as I put the garments on. I leave the hood down and will use it if my head gets cold later.
"Alright, let's go." He grabs my hand and leads me out the door.
We walk for several blocks still in my neighborhood. We come to a stop in front of a shabby single-story house. The yard is overgrown with weeds and the privacy fence is broken in places and leaning in different directions.
"Why are we here?" I look up at Jeff in confusion.
"I want you to feel the exhilaration of taking someone's life, like I do." He grins evilly.
"WHAT?!! NO! No way! I'm not going to kill anyone!" I'm appalled that he would bring me here to do that!
"Most of my victims are random, but this guy deserves it." He says it so nonchalantly.
"How can you even say such a thing?!"
"Maybe this will change your mind." He whispers clearly in my ear. "This man is a pedophile. He takes advantage of children, some as young as three..."
Without realizing, my hands ball into fists. Seeing that he hit a nerve he uses this to his advantage. He grabs my wrist and pulls me toward the house. "Let's go!" We slip through a broken part of the fence and round the corner of the house. Letting go of my wrist, he pulls my hood up over my head. "Leave this on and don't take your gloves off for any reason. You don't want to leave fingerprints or any evidence that you were ever here."
"O-Okay..." I nod in understanding. "Oh...but what about you? You don't have any gloves on."
"Hmph, don't worry about me." I still give him a concerned look. "I said don't worry about it." I stare at him in silence. "Look...I haven't had fingerprints in a really long time, so drop it." He gives me that look of his and I immediately avert my eyes from him. "Okay, you need to be quiet from here on out. Just follow my lead." I nod again, not saying anything.
He opens the window without it making a single sound. Wrapping one arm around my waist and his other arm under my legs, he lifts me up easily and slips me into the window feet first. He releases me and I slide into the house landing quietly on my feet. Jeff nimbly climbs in after me, landing with extreme stealth. We're standing inside a bedroom. Looking around, I see a man sleeping alone on an old, worn out bed.
