FINALLY FOUND A PICTURE OF ARIEL. PIC ON SIDEBAR

Chapter Seventeen

Ariel's POV

Before sleep came over me, dozens of thoughts were swirling through my head. The thought that stood out the most, no matter how many times I pinched myself to make sure it was real, was he was back. He isn't leaving this time. Even if he tried, I wouldn't let him.

Harry and I are working together. That ones difficult to wrap my head around as well. The thought of seeing him everyday, coming home with him everyday to make dinner, sleep, and replay it all over again the next day brought a smile to my face. We have the opportunity to do the thing we love most, and that's to make music.

Another thought swirling through my jumbled head was the fact my dream came true. I have the chance to produce music that people would listen to for their own entertainment that made them happy. I just want to make people happy doing what I put my heart and soul into. The money aspect is only a plus in having this job. Now I won't have to worry about how I'm going to make my next payment, or how much groceries I need to limit myself to, I'll be comfortable.

Before I began running through my thoughts, I was sure I would pass out anytime. But now I'm wide awake with all the positive things happening in my life.

I heard rain tickling the roof, instantly bringing the sides of my mouth into a grin. I slowly pulled the covers off my body, peeling Harry's arm around my waist to the bed. He was in to deep of sleep to notice my lack of presence. Soft snores escaping his parted full lips was my cue I was able to leave the room without disturbing the peaceful angel lying in the confinement if my sheets.

I slip on one of Harry's white long sleeve shirts with a black pair of sweatpants bagging at my hips. I pulled my hair into a high loose bun, adding a headband to keep back the fly always before stepping out of my room.

I wandered down the familiar hallway coming across the french doors leading to the balcony. I didn't come out here to play, but to just listen to the music Mother Nature sang using wind and rain. The constant splatter of rain against the tin awning was calming. I stretched out on my patio chair, my ears zoning in on that one sound. A clap if thunder boomed through the sky the same time an illuminating light flashed across the clouds.

I heard shuffling inside the doors before the left side creaked opened. A sleepy Harry walks slowly into my view, with only sweats covering his lower half, with a bare chest. His tattoos clear in sight in the moonlight.

"Can't sleep?" He asked with a deep raspy voice, that I wish was permanent.

"Not at all." I replied softly. He came over, and motioned me to slide forward. He stepped over the side of the chair, sitting down, resting his back on the cushion. He threw his feet out to where they were on either side of me, grabbing me gently by the waist pulling me against his chest. He wrapped his arms around me, instantly making me feel warm. Goosebumps appeared on my arms which didn't go unnoticed by Harry.

"You cold?" He asked simply. Once I nodded, he reached for the blankets draped over the arm of the chair. He tossed one end out, holding the other in his hand, engulfing us in the warm confinement of the cotton material.

"You've got to be freezing babe." I stated motioning towards his bare chest.

"I've never felt warmer." He replied almost in a whisper, nuzzling his face into the left side of my hair.

"Can you believe we'll be working together?" I asked.

"I'm still wrapping my head around the fact we're living together. I get to wake every morning and see that beautiful face of yours, and sit on a piano stool all day, creating music we wrote together. I've got to be the luckiest guy in this world."
