Chapter Nine

Ariel's POV

Surprisingly, I slept really well last night. Thank you Jesus. I rolled over on my right side and threw my hand over to cut off my alarm clock. Once I did, here was a bouque of pink daisies on my nightstand. I arched my eyebrow wondering who they came from and how the got in here. There was also a little trail of pink petals leading out of my bedroom. I got to my feet, put a robe on, and followed. I walked out of my bedroom, down the hallway, and into the living room.

Oh my goodness...

There were pink daisies EVERYWHERE. From petals scattered everywhere around the floor, the couch, the window seal, to bouques of daisies on the side table, everywhere you look was the color pink. My face blushed at the thought of someone doing this for me. It was a little warm in the living room, so I flipped the switch to the fan. Suddenly, little petals are falling in a cascade around me. I giggled at the thought that someone would put them on the fan blades.

Wait....

There's only one person who knows that pink daisies are my absolute favorite flower. And that person was the reason I think I finally got a good nights rest last night. The way he didn't really argue about me not telling him what was wrong at the restaurant last night, the way he took my hand and led me over to the piano, knowing this is the way I communicate when I'm upset. No words were spoken between us before I left, but we talked with our eyes. he knew I was grateful for what he did. And I'm grateful that he did what he did this morning.

I have an early shift at the restaurant, since it's Valentine's Day. I went to go take a shower, and get ready. I have a floor length red dress that would be perfect for today. (picture of whole look on sidebar) After my shower, I dried my hair, straightened it, and put it in a low bun and left my bangs out. I put on red lipstick to match the dress, little foundation, and mascara. I put on my black heels, grabbed my purse and an extra pair of shoes, my phone and headed out the door.

I walked through the front door of the restaurant and saw a lot of couples. From young newbie couples to old totally in love couples. I want a relationship like that, where you can gaze into eachother's eyes for hours with no ackwardness.

I headed to the breakroom to put my things in my locker. I dialed in my three digit combination and pulled the latch. Once the little door opened, hundreds of pink petals fell out, and after they did, there was a smple bouque of daisies. I smiled to myself...knowing he's trying. Trying to salvage what we have left of our love, and let me tell you...

It's working for me.

I didn't bother to clean up the petals, because I wanted to hang on to the thought as long as I'm at work today. So, I walk out to the piano. Before I rounded the corner of the bar I saw people pointing in the direciton towards the piano. I walked around the beam, and just stood there in awe. There had to be even more petals than there were in the employee break room. With five bouques of daisies on the piano, one on every step of the staircase, and scattered around the stage. It was beautiful. But the most beautiful thing about it, was he was sitting on the stool of the piano he brought the other night, waiting for me. He had a cute little smile upon his face that made me want to melt and poke his dimples. All of a sudden he snapped his fingers and all the lights were more dim than they always were, and there was a spot light directly towards me. Everyone cheered for me as I smiled at Harry. I walked towards the piano while Harry held out his hand for me to hold while I take a seat on my stool, yes MY stool yet again. That caused me to smile even wider.

"You look stunning." He said while looking at me with longing eyes.

"You don't look so bad yourself." I smirked. He didn't at all, he wore a dark skinny jeans, a white button up, with a black bow tie. And his white converse.
