Chapter Eleven

Ariel's POV

Nothing could be more perfect than how things are right now. I've gone back to my old self, the fun, loving, out-going self, that he only seems to bring out in me. I guess without him, I'm just blank, lifeless, well except when I play piano. It feels real this time. He's more than I remember, and every little thing he does makes me fall even more. The way he burrows his eyebrows when he is in deep thought, how he sings and dances while cooking, the way he looks at me with longing eyes, compliments me every two seconds, holds my hands and gives it a light squeeze to make sure I know he's not going anymore. Everything.

He hasn't been staying at the hotel with his friends, who I haven't met yet. He's been at my place. It's raining pretty good outside right now, and we're cuddled up on the floor on a palet we made of every comforter, blankets, and pillows we could find, watching Sweet Home Alabama.

"What'd you wanna marry me for anyhow?" The sound of Jake's voice coming through the speakers. Melony smiles at him, while walking closer, puts her hands around his neck.

"So I can kiss you anytime I want." She says with her southern accent. Jake smiles down at her, before giving her a passionate kiss on the lips, in the rain.

My eyes are watering at this point, and Harry takes full notice. He looks at me admiringly, while drying my tears with his thumbs.

"I'm glad I have the chance to kiss you anytime I want again." He says, inching closer to me. I pull him down to me by his shirt, and made his lips meet mine. I felt him smile on my lips, which caused me to do the same. He hovered over me now, lightly running his hands down my sides. causing goosebumps to raise on my skin. He started inching his hand up my shirt, when I put my hand over his, making him stop. He pulled away the same time I did, looking at me with eyes that read guilt.

I put my hand on his cheek, and caressed it with my thumb. "It's okay, just not now.." I told him, and it clicked in his head. I didn't get a verbal response, I just got a light kiss on my lips, that was too sweet. "You're worth waiting for Ariel." He said with seriousness in his eyes. I kissed him once more, letting him know I was grateful for his patience, before I rolled him over and laid my head on his chest. He laid his head on top of my own. My hand that was draped over his stomach, was soon accompanied with his. My left arm went up beside my stomach with my hand hanging off my side. Harry took this hand in his grasp too, which made my heart flutter. I loved his suddle touches, which was another reason he kept me falling.

While I was deep in thought, I heard little snores coming from his lips. I looked up at him, with his curls tossled hanging just above his eyebrows. His lips slightly parted. I frowned, because I couldn't see those pretty green eyes sparkling, but then I smiled, he looked so adorable when he was asleep.

I reached up to place a light kiss on his cheek, when I felt his lips on mine. He turned his head at the last minute.

"Hey! I thought you were sleeping." I said. "I'm a good actor, love. Plus I wanted to kiss you one last time before we both fell asleep." He kissed me on my forehead. I closed my eyes and savored the sweet moment before opening them again. "This rains making me sleepy, let's take a nap." He said. "Sounds good to me." And before I knew it, he was asleep. And so was I.

Harry's POV

"I don't want to leave babe. But I have too." I told Ariel as she cried into my chest. "Why does this always happen? One of us always leaves." She yells while pulling herself from me. "Just go Harry, and don't come back."

"Ariel...."

"Just leave, I'll survive without you."

I jolted awake, with Ariel still in my arms, sweat rolling down my forehead. Thankfully, I didn't wake her. I slowly peeled myself from her embrace, and draped a blanket over her.
