Chapter Twenty Five

Ariel's POV

The next morning, I woke up with only one thought in my mind. I've told Harry that I'm ready, and I am. I know this is the guy I want to be with, and he's not going anywhere anytime soon. I really need to go shopping for some things before anything happens, have a day to myself to mentally prepare myself to what I've agreed to.

I rolled over to find an empty bed, besides a piece of white paper on his pillow.

"Good morning my love. I'm sorry I wasn't here when you woke up. I had to step out for something. I'll be back before six. I love you. -H"

I wonder what he had to do today, since he doesn't know his way around. This gives me the opportunity to go shopping. I got out of bed stretching my muscles before heading to take a shower. Once I got out of the shower I remembered we were in Georgia, where the weather is always a little warmer. I switched on the tv, turning it to the weather channel, and at the bottom it read fifty three degrees. Right now in New York it's probably in the forties. I took out my army green skinny jeans, a cream colored t-shirt, and my cream, orange, and green infinity scarf. I decided I'd wear that with my white converse, and Harry's green beanie.

Once I was ready I left the hotel, shooting Harry a quick text.

To: Harry

Goin shoppin. Love you. <3

I put my phone back in my pocket. Harry booking a hotel in a city not far from my hometown. I called a cab to go to one store in mind.

Now, the hard part, needing to look desirable.

Harry's POV

My phone vibrated in my pocket as I placed the last piece of wood in the SUV. I came to Home Depot this morning to gather everything I needed to build my little surprise for Ariel.

A text from Ariel flashed a crossed my screen telling me she was going shopping. Good, that'll keep her distracted.

Realizing I couldn't do this on my own, I walked back in up to the service desk.

"Excuse me, do you happen to have a couple of guys that could help me build a small cabana?" I asked her.

"You're in luck. We're actually over staffed today." She said with a smile.

"Great! I'll make sure their services will be paid for. Thank you." I replied. She nodded before picking up the phone, talking to someone. A few minutes later, two guys were walking my way, coming up asking for a hand shake.

"Hey, I'm Brian and this is Mike." The tall one motioned towards himself and Mike. His accent was stronger than Ariel's.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Harry." I replied shaking their hands.

"We're here to help anyway we can." Mike spoke up, sticking out his chest like Superman. I chuckled at his actions.

"Thanks lads. It'll be a little bit of a drive, not too long." I told them. They nodded and we were out the door.

This morning before going to Home Depot, I explored her hometown a bit. Driving down the road, I saw a gravel road off to the shoulder. There weren't any signs of private property or fences, so I turned down it and made my way to the end. It opened up to a field, with only a single oak tree in the middle. Beautiful little white and yellow flowers were beginning to grow.

I parked my car and walked around the field just examining it and discovered a tiny bridge to the right. Below the bridge was a little creek, giving off a calming sound of water. Once I crossed the bridge, there was another opening, not quite as big as the field, seeing as if the field was about three acres. This was about one acre, trees surrounding it, but when you looked up, the tree branches didn't block off the sky, giving a clear view. This was amazing. And I knew right then and there this was the special place.
