Chapter Fifteen

Ariel's POV

When I woke up this morning, I realized I wasn't alone. An arm was draped over my left side, with my fingers laced through his. All the memories from yesterday come flooding back into mind. He came back, and he's not leaving again. Surprisingly, the reminder of almost being taken advantage of didn't come to mind first, but it was Harry stopping us. I never thought it would be him to keep us from being able to make love. I do believe to wait for marriage, but last night I realized that I didn't want anyone else. I didn't want to wake up next to someone else, cook breakfast with, go to the beach with, movie days, lazy rainy days, I just wanted those things to be spent with Harry. I know for a fact that this is the guy I want to be with, without a doubt.

And that's what's running through my head now as I look at him in a peaceful deep sleep. His lips slightly parted, with soft snores escaping. No crease could be seen at his eyebrows, which made him look younger. His curls falling just in his eye line, I took my hand and gently pushed them back on his forehead, to recieve a hum in return.

I traced his tattoos with my fingers, going over every crevice of ink. They were randomly scattered about his chest and arms. My favorite being the swallows upon his chest. I ran across his chest, and came to the silver chain the never left his neck. It reminded me of my own. I loved this necklace, and never once have I removed it around my neck.

I kissed the pad of my thumb and place it on his lips, something we used to do back then. He pursed his lips out just a bit, probably thinking it was my own. A giggle escaped my lips when he did so. His eyebrows raised in confusion as his, but burrowed at the same time. His eyes fluttered open just a bit, but I could tell he was awake. A slight smile came across my face, and he returned the favor. No words were spoken, we just gazed into each others eyes, letting the fact sink in that he was here, in my bed, back with me.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked with his raspy morning voice, which made goosebumps appear on my arms, but I was too engulfed in the covers for him to see.

I reached my hand up to caress his cheek before replying. "You." I spoke lightly. He placed his hand over my own, and pulled it away, only to place a kiss on my palm.

"What do you want to so today?" I asked him. We haven't really gone out while in New York without fighting or him trying to win me back. We just need a good day, to ourselves.

"I actually have something to do today, but maybe we can go for a walk in Central Park when I get back?" He said. My face kind of fell for just a moment, but I recooporated before he could notice.

"Yeah, sure, that'd be nice." I said with a little smile. He kisses me on my forehead before jumping out of bed and heading off to take a shower. He left the room to go retrieve his suitcase. When he came back into my room, I couldn't help but admire his build. Tall and lean, lightly tanned skin, perfect abs that were dominant but weren't too much. His V lines disappearing into the band if his gray Nike sweat pants made my heart race, knowing what I wanted to do with the boy just a few hours ago made me blush.

I looked up to have his green eyes locked on my sapphire ones. He had his head tilted to the side just a little, with an expression in his face I couldn't quite determine what was going through his head.

"What?" I asked while looking at him with a little smile on my lips, mimicking his head movement.

He stood there for a minute, without answering my question. He began to walk over to me, leaning over the bed with his fist down on the mattress for supported while he kissed my lips lightly. "You're beautiful." He said with calmness and composure in his voice, making my heart beat escalate quickly.
