Chapter 41

Me: Who is this?

?: Just trust me.

I didn't feel like I was in danger but I did take precautions and went to the patio outside of Alex's room. I didn't see anyone so I quickly text the number back.

Me: I'm out here. Now what?

A few minutes later, someone walked from the side of the house into the light from the garage.

Diggy: "Hey, Munch," he said with a big grin.

Yn: "What are you doing here," I asked whisper yelling. He caught me off guard.

Diggy: "I came to see you. Come down here."

Yn: "You've got to be kidding me. How did you get in?"

Diggy: "Kinda hopped the wall. Man, I'ma ask y'all to lower that."

Yn: "Are you trying to go to jail? That's trespassing, idiot."

He laughed and threw something up to me but it fell next to me on the floor. I bent down and picked it up, examining it. It was a house key.

Diggy: "My place. Tomorrow. Heard your little boyfriend will be out of town. No games. No sexual acts. Just two friends catching up."

Yn: "Naw, I'm cool," I said, throwing the key back down to him. He just looked at it and then looked up at me, smiling.

Diggy: "I'll just leave it there. Maybe you'll change your mind. I'll see you later beautiful. I love you."

He turned around and walked out of the gate door.

Yn: "I loved you too."

As soon as I think I'm over him, he just pops back up. My feelings always tried to surface but lately it's like Daniel wasn't the cause. Don't get me wrong, I still love him and Lord knows I do but Alex shows me what I need more and more everyday. After a minute of just thinking, I made my way back into the room. Alex was still snoring away and so I just climbed in next to him. He wrapped his arms around me and I went to sleep, thinking about non other than my idiot of an ex.

I was woken by Alex the next morning at around 7am.

Alex: "Babe," he said, tapping me.

Yn: "Hmm," I was so hoping I was dreaming because I was too tired to get up.

Alex: "Still want to take me to the arena?"

Yn: "No," I said without getting up. He laughed.

Alex: "Fine. I'll see you later."

I felt him get off the bed. He knew I wasn't letting him leave that easy. I turned around and he was looking at me, smiling.

Yn: "You're so annoying," I said getting up and heading for the bathroom.

Alex: "But you love me so it's all good," he said grabbing me and pulling me in for a kiss. After we broke the kiss, I turned to go into the bathroom and he slapped my butt.

Yn: "You'll miss this, huh," I asked without turning around.

Alex: "You know I will," he said coming up behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist.

I was brushing my teeth as he tried taking selfies.

Yn: "I hope you're not catching me brush my teeth," I said after spitting.

Alex: "Nope. I'm catching how good I look," he said laughing and running his fingers through his hair.

Yn: "And yet, I'm the woman in the relationship," I said, rolling my eyes and laughing.
