When we got back to Jersey, I drove to New York to hang with Ange because Alex wanted me out of the house for the weekend to plan my birthday.
Angela: "I can't believe you're about to be twenty two already."
Yn: "Girl me either but I have nothing to do with the party this time."
Angela: "Let's just hope he knows how to throw one."
We both laughed as we walked into Barneys.
Angela: "So what are you going to get?"
Yn: "I don't know. Seeing as how this is an all white event, the options are endless on accessories and things."
Angela: "Right! But what if you change it up a bit?"
Yn: "What do you mean?"
Angela: "I think you should show up in a different color. It is your party and you want to stand out, right?"
Yn: "You know what? You're absolutely right and I have the perfect dress. I have a red one sitting in my closet that I haven't worn yet."
Angela: "There you go! Now accessorize!"
I text Alex and told him that I wanted to wear my red dress. I ended up picking out a white RAUWOLF clutch and some white OLGANA sandal heels.
Yn: "Ange, how did I end up paying $3,000?"
We both laughed.
Ange: "I'm trying to figure out how I even spent a grand because I didn't plan on buying anything."
Yn: "Well, I still need to get jewelry and I know the perfect person to get it from!"
We were driven to one of the hottest jewelers in the city. Ange and I stepped out of the car and headed to the front of the jewelry store. I pressed the buzzer.
Receptionist: "Hello? How may I help you?"
Yn: "Hi! This is Yn."
Sun: "Yn Blake?"
Yn: "Hey Sun!"
A few seconds later, the door unlocked and we went inside.
Sun: "Hey beautiful ladies!"
We hugged and then got straight to business. I chose a teardrop necklace with matching earrings and then chose to pair it with a diamond tennis bracelet.
