Chapter 66

Yn's POV

Yn: "I wish you guys could come party with us but I know your brother's birthday is this weekend too." I sat down at the counter as I handed Ange and Tanice cups of tea.

Angela: "Who said we can't show up to both?"

Tanice: "Right. Besides, Alex's sound more my speed."

Yn: "Okay good. I'm hoping it's one of the best birthdays he's had. We didn't do anything last year unfortunately because our relationship was still new but this one will be bomb."

Angela: "So what are you getting him?"

Yn: "I really don't know yet. Guys don't get excited over things like we do. Maybe a new car or *gco*"

Angela: "Or a baby."

Yn: "Oh my gosh. Stop." I laughed.

Angela: "I tried." We all laughed.

Yn: "So when are you telling mom and dad?"

Angela: "I was thinking about telling them this Sunday at dinner. That way the whole family is there."

Yn: "Well their reaction can't be too bad after Nessa."

Tanice: "Right."

Angela: "I hope not. I do wish I was married though but it happened like this and I don't regret it."

Yn: "Good."

Angela: "So when are we going bridesmaid shopping again?"

Yn: "Next Tuesday. I'm so nervous you guys!"

Tanice: "I was too! But it's so rewarding."

I walked over to the patio door and opened it, letting Brax in.

Angela: "I still can't get used to the size of that dog. What was Diggy thinking?"

Yn: "Girl I don't know but I'm glad he let me keep him."

Tanice: "Jojo would go crazy if I even thought about getting one of those."

We continued talking and planning until Alayna and Alex came running through the door.

Alayna: "He's going to get me! Auntie get him!"

She ran behind me, grabbing my leg as Alex came running into the kitchen making monster noises.

Alex: "I'm coming for you Alayna!"

She screamed as she ran around the island, Alex catching her on the other side. She giggled as he picked her up and tickled her.

Alex: "Hey ladies. Hey love," he came over and kissed me as Alayna struggled to get loose from his grip.

Yn: "Hey sweetie."

Alayna: "Uncle Alex! I give up!"

He laughed, putting her down.
