Tris's Pov

"Hey Caleb."

"Morning, Tris. We have the whole day to ourselves, what do you want to do?"

"You're not going to hang out with Cara?" I asked surprised.

"No, she's spending the day with family. So, what do you want to do?" Caleb asks.

"I don't know," I reply.

"Oh come on, I'm sure there's something you want to do."

"I'm fine with anything, really. We could just stay here all day and watch a bunch of old movies."

"You never did change," Caleb says smiling, "even when we were younger you loved watching movies and eating popcorn."

"Of course I didn't, I loved watching movies because mom and dad used to watch them with us," I say, feeling nostalgic of all the memories.

"Well before we start watching some movies we should cook some breakfast and popcorn first."

"Okay."

Several movies later, Caleb and I decide to stop watching. When I go to check my phone I realize that I've missed two calls and one text from Tobias.

"Hold on, Four called me a couple hours ago."

"Hello," Tobias says on the other side of the line.

"You called?"

"Oh, yeah. I talked to Zeke today,
and he said some weird things to me. Did you guys ever talk at all recently?"

"Well no, but he did help me out when Peter was around. He told him to leave me alone and then you walked in."

"I remember that. Anyway, he apologized to me about the way he's treated you, but I told him that he should be saying all of that to you."

"Really? That's surprising. Do you think he'll actually talk to me about it?" My voice is a mixture of relief and hopefulness, because that is one less person that will be gunning for my back.

"Yes, if he really cares about his relationship with Uriah and how bad he actually feels he'll talk to you. Him and Uriah are really close and this situation is driving them apart. I'm sure he'd apologize to you if it would mean Uriah forgives him too."

"I didn't know that they were fighting because of me..."

"I know what you're thinking Tris. It's not your fault. You've done nothing wrong to anyone, it's just their stupidity that's causing all of these problems," Tobias says reassuringly.

"Thanks. Are you free tomorrow to come over tomorrow? Caleb and Cara might be home to just so you know."

"That's fine, I'll come over tomorrow. 1 o clock okay?"

"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow."

When both of us hang up, I ask Caleb if it's okay that Four comes over, and we continue our movie marathon until we both fall asleep.

I am awoken by the cold sun shining through my window, causing me to throw a pillow over my eyes in an effort to get more sleep. As I become more aware of the light and coldness in my room I force myself to wake up and get ready for the day. While changing, I take a glance at my thighs and see the dozens of scars I left behind, constantly reminding me of how much my life sucks. I haven't cut in a while, and I'm sure Caleb would be proud of me for stopping, but who knows when I'll reach for the razor and begin cutting as I have many times before.
