What did she mean by that? What's she going to do? Thoughts like that and more permeated through Mei's mind, she couldn't find the ability to speak. It was like a wolf staring down at a tiny mouse contemplating on what to do.

"Well?" Diana pressed as she continued to stare down at Mei with a lifeless gaze. "What's your response?"

Mei shook, too frightened to even speak as Diana merely watched with an impassive expression, her lifeless eyes dark like a bottomless ice cold lake. It felt like Mei could drown in those depths that showed no signs of changing. She opened her mouth to speak but no sound would come out no matter how many times she tried, it was like her voice fled from the fear of this girl, like she would kill her at any moment.

Just who in the world was this person?

Diana merely continued to watch Mei with a half-hooded gaze; she didn't even look to be breathing. When the silence persisted it was then that she spoke.

"You said I've never been raped?" her voice was soft, but it held nothing of emotion. "If anything that's the only thing the two of us have in common. But that's when the similarity ends. You were drugged with some type of date rape drug like rohypnol, ketamine or GHB and probably don't even remember anything until after you woke up. Not being knocked out cold and only to wake up to find the sonofabitch still inside of you."

Mei could feel her whole body growing cold in how Diana spoke to her, and then right in that moment Diana took one hand and quickly slashed open Mei's blouse, the buttons scatted to the floor like that of small pebbles. It took her a moment to realize what had just happened and when she had, Mei let out a gasp of shock and tried to move away, her hands moving to push the girl off of her only Diana seemed far too strong for her, hell the muscle she had was like that of an athlete even though it didn't look like it.

"Stop..." she pleaded as she continued to push her off but Diana refused to move an inch. "Get off of me! Stop it!"

Diana grasped her writs with one hand and pinned her arms above her head and stared at her eye to eye. "Then stop acting like you're still the damn victim!" she growled. "You were only raped once, be thankful for that because others are not lucky. There are countless women who are raped constantly without the use of drugs. So when I said not to let your past control you, as some type of personal vendetta, I say it for the girls you have yet to convince to testify. Having a grudge will only get you so far in life." After saying that Diana got up off of Mei and went to the door before saying looking back at her with a glare filled with anger and disapproval. "Keep going like this will get you killed one day."

She then left the apartment, slamming the door shut leaving Mei in absolute silence. Shaken to the core, her body shook from the fright of it all. How her eyes were so cold and empty like a bottomless lake and the way that she tore open Mei's blouse. She looked to the floor as she sat up with shaken arms, the buttons were scattered aimlessly across the ground. It looked like Diana hadn't used much force but as Mei stared down at herself her shirt said a different story altogether.

It took some time for her to calm down, her skin still holding goosebumps as her heart beat wildly in her chest. When she finally had, Mei slowly began to go through the whole thing over again, trying to grasp a reason for that girl being here.

Then it came to her, Diana had consecutively looked at the files, but more like she was looking at one in particular. Mei tried to stand up, but found that her legs were too shaken, in that moment she was glad that she didn't share an apartment with anyone as she slowly crawled her way back to the coffee table and looked over the files, before finding the one that she seemed to keep staring at. She looked at the name.

Li-fu Wong.

Why was that girl constantly staring at this particular file? It could have been nothing, yet something inside of her, against all the fear that was still strongly present, told her that it was very important.

Taking the file, and remained sitting on the floor, Mei opened it and began to slowly go over the contents.

Diana kicked over a number of garbage cans four blocks away from that damned woman's apartment building. A mix of anger and her own personal memories began to blur as she kicked another garbage can over for good measure to cool her anger, she had kicked it so hard it left a dent in it.

"Son of a bitch!" she cursed.

"Diana," a male calm voice whispered softly in her ear that soothed her anger slightly.

She shook her head before running a hand through her hair. "Yeah, I know." she murmured softly with an aggravated breath. "Goddammit, she had no right saying any of that. she doesn't fucking know me, don't claim what you don't damn well know..." she sighed. "Shit." Shoving her hands into her coat pockets Diana turned and left the alleyway, walking briskly back into the centerfold of the crowd that seemed to avoid her, almost sensing how angry she was. Not that she could blame anyone for it.

"What should we do from here?"

"Only thing we can do," she said softly. "We relay the information that we've collected from that woman had and tell the ones who asked this request. Then go through all of that legal crap, but seeing as how corrupt a lot of these governmental groups are I really doubt any of it will stay on him." her eyes darkened angrily. "A lot of this BS would just end if I killed him, but even that would be too good for him. Why the hell am I doing this for these people again?"

"Because you like them,"

Diana paused in her answer and stopped in her tracks when she saw a group of teenage girls walking by and laughing without so much as a care in the world.

From self-contained anger to a feeling of regret, Diana watched the girls for a moment before they disappeared from sight.

"Let's just hope... that tomorrow becomes a good day."

"I agree with that notion."

With a slight smile Diana continued on and vanished within the vast crowds of busy people going to and fro.
