Chapter 45:

*Crystal's POV*

1 MORE YEAR OF COLLEGE TO GO!!! I got 93% correct on my finals! The computer grades it then tell if I passed as soon as I submit it for grading.

"BABY! I PASSED!"

He knew how much I was stressing over this so he was happy for me.

"I'm so proud of you," he sang and kissed my cheek.

"Wanna show me how proud?"

I didn't notice that Sandi at the door.

She was smiling. "Sorry to interrupt, but I wanted to go out with Alliyah. We want to get a movie."

Aubrey:"Do you need me to drive?"

"I can drive."

Me:"That won't happen. He won't let ANYONE drive that stupid ass car of his."

Aubrey: Are you coming?

He got up and went downstairs.

I put on some slip-on shoes, a shirt, then followed everyone out the door.

I sat in the back with Alliyah while Sandi sat in the front and everyone knows who's in the driver's seat.

We were in the store and Aubrey was talking with his mom.

Alli: "Mommy, what are you gonna get?"

All conversations stopped and Aubrey and Sandi looked at me.

"I don't know, yet. I thought I told you not to call me that."

"I want a mom."

She was serious. Her eyes looked lonely and sad.

I kissed her and said,"We might get a scary movie."

"Can I watch it, too."

Aubrey:"No. She don't need nightmares."

"Let her watch it. Nothing is wrong with that."

He looked irritated by me so he continued his conversation with Sandi.

"So can I watch it?"

"Yeah, but don't tell Uncle Aubrey."

She started giggling. "Ok."

We got back to the house and I started to clean the kitchen.

Alliyah got Monster's University and Aubrey and I got Scary Movie 5 and The Evil Dead.

"Mommy, can I help?"

"Don't call her that, anymore." Aubrey was still pissed.

"Yeah, baby. Come on. You can wipe off the counters."

"Ok."

When Aubrey left the room, Alliyah turned to me and said,"Why is Uncle Aubrey being mean?"

"Your mom was his sister."

"He hurt my feelings."

"He won't anymore. I'll TRY to make him stop."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

I was in my room reading my book '50 Shades of Grey' when Aubrey came in.

"Why are you letting her call you that?"

"Because she can." I gave him a 'Duh. Are you stupid?' look.
