Chapter 68:

****Crystal's POV

When I opened my eyes, I saw a bright light. I opened them some more. I heard beeping and needles were in me. I tried hard to recall my latest memory.

"Crystal. You're up?"

"Yeah." My voice was unrecognizable.

India gave me a drink of water.

"I'm in the hospital? Why?"

"You don't remember?"

"If I did, I wouldn't ask."

"You blacked out."

"No, I didn't."

"Then tell me why are you here?"

I looked down at my stomach.

"Is my baby okay? Why did I black out?"

"The baby is ok, but the doctor is still running tests. You have high blood pressure."

"Am I okay?"

"I don't know. How do you feel?"

"Fine. Don't tell anyone about this."

"People need to know. Aubrey needs to know. This is serious."

"If I WANTED people to know, I'd TELL them MYSELF."

"Crystal, THIS is why you fainted. You're stressing yourself out."

My heart beat started to go faster and she heard it on the monitor.

"I don't care anymore. I'm trying to HELP you."

I didn't answer back.

"I'm about to get me a snack. I'll be back later."

She left and a nurse came in.

"Hey, Crystal. How are you feeling?"

"Confused."

"Dr. Cameron is your doctor and he said that you should stay overnight for observation. Your baby is fine, but high blood pressure could be fatal and it's easy to lose your baby in the first trimester."

"Okay. So no damage at all to either me or my baby, right?"

"No damage at all. Page us if you have any questions or concerns."

"I will. What room is this?"

"417."

"Ok. Thanks."

She left and I texted Chris: I'm in the hospital. #417

He texted back: I'm on my way!

***India's POV

She doesn't know what she's doing! I went out the room to call Aubrey. It took almost 5 rings, but he answered.

"It's about Crystal, isn't it?"

"She's in the hospital."

"What?! What happened?!"

"High blood pressure. She fainted."

"Where's Alliyah?"

"Still with Pops. This girl is LITERALLY stressing herself OUT."

"I'm on my way."

"Alright."
