Saxon's POV

"Dil? Dillan? Where are you?" I yelled, slamming my school bag onto the coffee table.

What a horrible day. First, the new girl steals my seat in Maths, then I find out she's in my gym class and she beats me in the 400m sprint! A Girl!

Okay, I'm not sexist, but that was a blow to the ego, let me tell you. I could smell the wolf on her though, which made me feel a little better.... But not much.

"Dillan? Jesus Christ!" I snap, opening the fridge, I open the bottle of milk, drinking it straight out of the carton.

"You better not have Aids, Flynn.." Ah, Becca. That would be Dillan's mate. I glance at her over the milk bottle and smirk. She grabs it from me, sculling it from the bottle just like I had been doing.

"Just think," I say when she's wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "We just indirectly made-out." I wink at her as she pretends to throw up.

I make my way up the stairs to my room, taking them two at a time.

"Hey, Flynn!" Rebecca yells from below.

I turn around, raising my eyebrows at her.

"Found that mate of yours yet?" She smirks at me, knowing full well that I hate, HATE, talking about mates. I shiver at the thought.

"Hell no, Becs." I smirk down at her. "Why would I want one of them?" Rebecca smiles sheepishly at me, looking guilty.  "Okay, what did you do?!" I yell, angry already.

She glares at me. "I didn't do no nothing! I just got a message from the Alpha today is all."

I bolt down the stairs, growling. "What did that pin-dick want now?"

Rebecca rolls her eyes, jumping onto the couch, which groans under her weight. Did I mention she's pregnant? With Three pups? Let me tell you, if she jumped on my back, I'd be groaning too... groaning in pain.

"The message said something along the lines of...." She paused, glancing at me. I knew she could see I was angry. Her face softened. "Sax, he said you needed to have a Mate in order to challenge him for your Birth Right..."

I growl. My body shook with rage. That idiot! Now I have to have a mate to even CHALLENGE him! I can feel my wolf rising to the surface, growling along with me, enjoying my rage. I turn on my heel and throw a flying punch at the wall. The plaster cracks. I move my hand, inspecting the dent in the wall. On the plus side... I didn't break it.

Rebecca looks at me, worry clear in her eyes. Walking (more like waddling) over to me, she touches my arm lightly. "Sax, you need to find your mate."

I sigh. Great, just what I needed. A mate. Ugh... "How long do I have to find her?" I whisper, hoping for a really, really long time.

She rubs her stomach unconsciously. I smile weakly. "Until the end of the year."

"What?!" I explode! I had exactly four terms (45 weeks) to find my mate! Jesus. It took Dillan six years to find his. It took Rachel (My eldest sister)  like ten years to find hers. And the Alpha has given me a year?! Jesus christ. "Where do I start looking?"

Rebecca smiles then, sniffing the air. "I think... I think you've already come into contact with her. You smell different." She shifts from foot to foot as I stare at her open mouthed. "The only problem is, you need to touch her too know she's your mate..."

Great... I had to go around touching every girl I saw until I found her. Until I found my mate. Jesus christ.

Rebecca suddenly clutches my arm, her other hand clawing at her shirt. "Shit..." She murmers, a pained expression on her face.
