No Goodbyes

Saying goodbye is so final
Don't you think?

So irretrievable, so irreversible Like the past or even the Unpleasantness of Death
I beg you don't say it to me

Farewell...
See you soon...
Until we meet again...
Or later, maybe...

But never say goodbye
Never verbalize that word
To me...please

Even if you depart in ill intent
Goodbye shouldn't be your last Oral sentiment

Even though it be a victory on Your part you might perceive
I will carry no resentment
In My precious unrestrained Heart...

Don't say goodbye...please
Because I want to know
You still exist...
That you still breathe

Even though not for me
Just to know your heart still Beats gives me relief
You are free

But there's always hope
That one day once again
You just might find your way Back to me as we were meant To be...home

Bon voyage...
Take care...
See yah...
Or until tomorrow, maybe...

Just never say goodbye to me
It's such a final descent
The end...
