Remember

Remember me
As I'll remember you
Only the good will I allow to reside

There's no blame
The ship just needed to sail
One of us had to remain on shore like a lighthouse
To guide you one day as you journey back
Though it might not be me
I'll be sure to build a replacement

Remember all the laughter
Forget all the pain
Be content in all things
You dare

I saw your heart
I willing showed you mine
Now we know each other's beats as it's memorized

Remember us
As we laughed and played
And not how we drove each other insane
Even though the insanity
Made us sane in love
It still drove us mad
Mad beyond repair

Remember me
As I'll remember you
free spirited, carefree and wild An untamed majestic creature
Who never compromised
One who has the light shining
brightly forever in your eyes
I will forever remember
Now it's bye
