For A Moment

53 10 5

For a moment I drifted away from the

turmoil and un-tranquil moments at

hand, where inconsistencies failed

to plague my already aching heart

For a moment I left my body behind

transporting soul to a peace of mind

For a moment I was not myself, but

merely a wind dancing in the sunlit

day, a faerie that only exist in tales

For a moment my eyes closed to sleep

without the depression of unrelenting

dreams, dreams with dire casts and

plots from cruel days already past

For a moment I just was, I was just being
