This Love

I can't believe the love that I've found in you
When I breathe it whispers your name
I'm not ashamed

This, love I feel is real
At times I'm afraid to accept its glory
For fear of the unknown
For fear of you one day leaving me alone

But, there's something stronger than you and I
A force pulling us together setting all else aside
This love, this wonderful love I feel
Makes me happy
I feel so serene

Just the thought of you makes me smile
Your voice sends thrills to my spine
I'm in paradise and you
You, you...invade my perpetual mind
I can dodge arrows and bullets with no fear of end in sight

As your words fill my screen
so does my heart fill with glee
And it bursts in excitement each time I see your name
Never failing, always the same feelings
Growing each day like a child
With each discovery and growth I learn more
It's a thrilling ride that keeps me on an ultimate high

This love of ours it's truly sublime
It transcends time
At moments I think this is one of a kind
As if we are the only two in the universe, no others waiting in line
They are forgotten, now it's just you and I
As if I've been waiting an eternity for you to be mine
Finally to belong, to love you
As you love me oh so true

This love rages havoc in my body, heart and soul
Commanding me to give you my all
There's no fight in me, there's no rivalry
As your love beckons me
Weakens me
Blinds me
Fulfills me
Pulls me...to only you
No one else comes close to you

I was once a lonely creature
Afraid of the dark
Then you became my beacon
Guiding me to your spark
A spark that now brightens with our love
Bringing me ever so nearer to your undying heart

This love..is our love now
Reciprocated
Unadulterated
Free to be
I accept thee even though it may be brief
Who knows what tomorrow will bring
But today, I love thee til eternity

Can you hear it?  Can you feel it?
The erratic pulsation?
My heart's pulsating rapidly and I wait for you to devour me
Take my blood
Make me yours
I welcome the pain and the endless coupling
Let's be one
Drink me, quench your thirst and awaken mine

This love, this love we found
Profound
Eclectic
Mutualistic 
Resounding like a scream
Echoing through the vastness of time
Finding me, placing me on bended knees
Forcing me to accept your offer
As I have no control over my heart
It knows you
It needs you
It feels your love and warmth

What is this love?
What have we done?
What is this new wave of feelings I've never truly known?
Why this insatiable desire?
