I woke up in the middle of the night and heard hushed tones outside of my room. I went over and pressed my ear to the door
Fernando: "No sé si ella va a perdonar mi, Jorge. Ella veía tan traicionada."
(I do not know if she'll forgive me, Jorge. She looked so betrayed.)
Jorge: "fernando , ella te perdonará , darle tiempo"
(Fernando, she will forgive you, give her time.)
I hopped back into bed right before the door slowly started to open, I pretended that I was fast asleep. I felt someone's shadow cast over my face as a hand came down and tucked my hair behind my ear. I heard a whispered "mi amor..." Before a soft kiss was placed on my forehead. The door closed and I was once again left in the empty room wondering "what am I going to do"
