Matteo's POV

I waited at the bottom of the stairs for Kara. She was truly one of the most beautiful women I have laid my eyes on, no wonder why Fernando is so obsessed with her. My brother always has gotten whatever he wanted but what if what he wants, wants me?

Kara: okay, I'm ready

Matteo: Great! Let's get going

I led Kara outside and the moment we stepped outside she took a deep breath and studied her surroundings. Wow Fernando really has been keeping her under lock and key. Looks like I'm going to be her sweet escape... Sorry Fernando

Kara's POV

As I stepped outside, I couldn't believe how bright it was and how dry the air was. From what I could finally see it looked like we were in Nevada or Arizona.

Kara: Matteo? What state are we in?

Matteo: This is Arizona mi amor

"Arizona" I breathed. I'm so far from home...
Matteo guided me to a large black suv and we got inside and began to drive off from the mansion. We'd been in the car for about half an hour when Matteo finally decided to call Fernando. He put him on speaker so I could hear.

Fernando: Yes, Matteo?

Matteo: I hope you don't mind but I'm taking Kara out for the day

Fernando: like hell you are

Matteo: well ya see I kinda already have...

- the other line went silent for a minute-

Fernando: Traerla de vuelta ahora mismo o te vas a arrepentir de esto
(Bring her back right now or you will regret this)

Matteo: lo siento mi hermano, Estoy dando kara algo que nunca se puede dar a su
(Sorry brother, I'm giving Kara something you can never give her)

Fernando: ¿Y que sería eso?
(And what would that be)

Matteo: Kindness. I will have her back by midnight. Goodbye Fernando.
