Jaime's POV:

The next morning I found myself sneaking out of the bus, leaving a note for the guys saying I went for food. In retereospect, lying probably wasn't the best idea. But I knew Vic wouldn't have been happy about me meeting Jade, whether he said it or not. He knew how much I cared for her when we were together and how hurt I was when it ended. I felt bad for lying, but he probably would never find out.

I retraced my steps from yesterday, meeting at the exact same cafe. She wasn't there yet when I had arrived, which was almost a relief. It gave me time to think up some conversation to avoid those awkward conversations that would maybe pop up. She arrived five minutes later, she wore high waisted shorts with a tucked in shirt that really showed off her figure. I mentally cursed myself for noticing this.

"Hey Jaime" She smiled, throwing her arms around me.

"Hi Jade" I replied, hugging back.

All of a sudden I was transported back two years ago. We sat and talked about old times. When the band was just starting to gain popularity and how exciting it was. Old memories were brought up, which admittedly put a smile on my face. She talked about the time we drove out to her family's cabin in the middle of nowhere and my car broke down and the time she tried to cook us dinner and nearly set her kitchen on fire. By the end, tears were forming in my eyes from all the laughter.

"Well I'd better get going" She said.

"Want me to walk you home?" I offered, without really thinking it through.

"Yeah that'd be great" She grinned.

"Well this is my house" She said, motioning to a relatively nice house to the right of us.

"It was great seeing you again" I smiled.

"Yeah it was, I wish you didn't have to leave so soon" She replied.

"Yeah that sucks, but hopefully we'll tour here again soon" I told her.

She pulled me into another hug, just before I left. It was like an out of body experience, like I was someone else watch it all happen as she pulled away slightly. Just far enough that she could put her hand on my neck and press our lips together. I pulled away, looking at her in shock.
