Vic POV:

We'd been touring for about a week now, our last seven days basically consisted of sleeping, eating, driving and then playing. But despite how repetitive it sounds, it never gets old. Hearing the fans scream for you, watching them sing along with you and then there's the ones that arrive early or stay late just to meet you. Meet and greets were one of my favourite things to do, I didn't want to be known as one of the bands that don't have time for their fans - because in reality they've inspired more than a few of my songs.

It was our first night off, which meant we were heading off to a club. We were currently in Boston, which meant expectations for the club were high. The four of us were ready for a wild night, along with Casey and a few other members from our crew. I could hear Mike, Tony and Casey talking about how awesome tonight would be from the bathroom, I ran my hand through my hair a few times until it sat the way I wanted it to. The door opened and I saw Jaime standing there.

"Oh sorry dude, didn't know you were in here" he smiled.

He was wearing black skinny jeans, red vans and a black shirt I had never seen before. I stammered trying to think of something to say - why was this so hard?

"It's cool I'm done now anyways" I said walking past him.

"Oh sweet, oh yeah, looking good tonight Vic" he said with a wink.

My stomach lurched, we always joked around like this together. It never used to affect me this way, get ahold of yourself Victor.

"Not as good as you" I shouted back, trying not to draw attention to my weird behaviour.

I could hear him singing in the bathroom to himself, something that normally made me happy - I was always trying to convince Jaime to more than just back up and scream vocals.

"You look scared shitless" A voice said.

I turned around, to see Mike standing in the door frame.

"No no no um, I'm fine" I stuttered.

"Did you see a spider or something?" He joked, referring to my slight fear towards spiders.

"You're are so funny little brother" I said back.

I heard him laugh as he walked past me and to his bunk. I slumped down on the couch, what was going on with me? I didn't like Jaime, besides I'm not even looking for a relationship right now. After my last girlfriend, I could easily never be in a relationship again.

"You okay bro?" Tony asked, interrupting my train of thought.

"Why does everyone keep asking me that? I'm fine" I said back, feeling slightly bad for snapping at Tony.

"Vic calm down, we're just worried. You've been down for days now" He replied.

"I know, sorry Tone" I said patting his shoulder a few times. "Just not in the right head space at the minute".

Before Tony could get the words out of his mouth, Mike had burst in - chanting something about how this was going to be the best night ever. And Jaime wasn't far behind him. For the first time in ages, I wasn't even in the mood to go out.
