Jaime's POV:
"Is that my boys?" A loud voice asked.
We walked through the front door and were immediately greeted by Mama Fuentes. I loved Vic and Mike's parents, they treated Tony and I like their very own sons. As you entered the house it always had such a homely feeling, like you felt loved and wanted the minute you stepped inside. I always loved that about their house, that and the constant smell of something good cooking in the kitchen.
"Jaime!" Mama Fuentes smiled, now hugging me.
Vic looked at me, shooting me a grin whilst I was in mid-hug. My stomach churned. Here we were, hours away from telling his parents about us and I still felt bad. I was still left reeling though, trying to determine whether I was in the right or wrong. It wasn't exactly black and white.
"It's so good to have you home." She smiled, now pulling away from Tony.
The plan was to spring the news on them after dinner. Tony and Mike would head out to pick up some ice cream and we would tell them. I wasn't that worried, considering how much Vic's parents loved him - I couldn't imagine them ever being hateful just over who he fell in love with. Plus it was a bonus that they liked me. Vic was just glad they hadn't caught wind of it online.
But could I justify telling them when I had so much on my mind? The fact that Jade was still trying to contact me made it harder. But coming clean was something I didn't want to do.

"Jaime, it's time for dinner." Vic said, poking his head around the door.
"Okay, I'll be in soon." I told him.
I sat on the steps of his backgarden getting some air, or in other words some time to think. Things were moving so quickly and my mind was constantly thinking things through.
"Are you okay?" Vic asked.
"What? Yeah I'm fine." I replied.
"It's just that you've been off these past couple of days. Are you nervous about telling my parents?" He questioned.
"No, of course not." I answered.
"Have you changed your mind about us?" He asked.
"Vic, how could you think that?" I said, feeling my voice raise.
I heard my phone make a noise from beside me on the step. I had a text and I knew exactly who from.
"Because that's what it seems like." He said back, much in the same tone.
*Buzz*
"Well I haven't." I replied, lowering my tone.
*Buzz*
We sat in silence for what felt like an hour, but was probably only a few minutes.
"Aren't you gonna get that?" He asked me.
I shook my head.
"Who was it anyway?" He asked.
That was it. I couldn't hide the guilty expression on my face. I felt my entire aura become shifty, how was I getting out of this one? I watched in horror as he picked up my phone.
"Who's Jade?"
**Pretty long chapter, hopefully it'll maybe make up for me neglecting this story. I had no idea people actually really read it so i'm sorry. I'm gonna make more of an effort to finish it now. I seem to always write in Jaime's POV now. Idk I just find it easier. Thanks to everyone who is commenting and to those lurkers who read but don't comment! :)**
