Jaime's POV:

We had been at Mike and Vic's parent's house for a few days now, and Vic and I hadn't spoken since the first day. I missed him, but I also knew I couldn't push things. I had apologies dozens of times, but he wasn't ready to talk and I had to accept that.

I sat in the Fuentes' family room, everyone else - as far as I knew - was outside. Vic and Mike's Dad was preparing a barbecue for later, a typical Fuentes' tradition. I stared out the window, stopping for a minute to wonder if I looked as melancholy as I felt.

"Jaime?" I heard a voice say.

"Mmm?" I said, not tearing my eyes away from the window.

"Fix things."

"What?" I said, now turning around.

"With Vic - fix things." I turned to see Mike standing there, tall with his arms crossed.

"You say that like it's so easy." I replied.

"I don't care how you fix it, just fix it." He ordered.

I heard him leave the room, door shutting on his way out. I let out a sigh, how was I supposed to fix things with him when he wouldn't even look at me? Of course I wanted things to go back to the way they were.

"Maybe you should listen to Mike." I heard Tony say.

I looked at him.

"Sorry I just overheard what he said an-" Tony continued.

"And you thought you would come in here and give me the same lecture?" I offered.

"Well, not exactly the same. I was going to be nicer about it." He smiled.

"I don't know how I'm supposed to fix this, Tone." I confessed.

"I know. But you can't stop trying. I mean you love him, right? You have to keep at it, he won't be angry forever - it's Vic - we've all been friends for years." Tony replied.

I nodded.

It was true, statistically he couldn't be mad forever. But I didn't want to wait it out. I was going to convince him on my own. I just had to work out how to win him back, to prove to him that this was worth fighting for.

"Thanks, Tony." I answered.
