How it Happened (Christian Yelich | MLB Miami Marlins)

Chapter 1

"I was in the 2nd or 3rd group that got selected to go on the trips" Nicole continued "i believe my group was about 10-15 people but only 6 were female employees. It was a weekend trip for us even though the team was away for about 2 weeks"

"Get to the good part!" Elizabeth said

"Okay so we got there on a friday while they were playing the 1st game of the series. We checked into the hotel.. which later we found out that it was the same hotel the team was staying at but different floors"

As Nicole told her story there was a little gasp from some of the girls .. Nicole looked towards the doors and say Christian and some of the other players standing in the doorway listening to what she was saying

"Can I help you?" Nicole laughed at them

"No. Continue your story .. we are just interested to see where this goes" Dee Gordon told her

"Don't you have practice" Nicole asked them

Christian smirked "We don't start for another hour"

Nicole looked over to Christina knowing the girls aren't allowed to talk with the players. 

"Im leaving cause I know the story. I didn't see them. I know nothing. Ill be back when they are gone" Christina got up and left the room

"How many are you out there" Nicole asked the guys 

"only a handful." Christian said

"Well come in take a seat you guys can tell your side of the story too while I tell mine" Nicole said

"Oh my god" Nicole heard Nathaly say to one of the other girls

AJ Ramos, Christian Yelich, Dee Gordon, Jose Fernandez, GianCarlos Stanton, JT Realmuto and Derek Dietrich came in and sat around Nicole

"Like I was saying" Nicole started up again once the guys had settled down "the first night we didn't do anything but Saturday was a different story."

"Wait what are you telling them?" Ramos interrupted "Is this when you first met us like for real met us"

"yes" Nicole shook her head

"I remember breakfast" Dietrich said 

Nicole went back to her story "My roommate, myself and two of the girl girls on the trip went down for breakfast and sat in the back corner of the hotels restaurant area. Not thinking anything of it other then there was space incase anyone else from our group went down there was space for us all to be together."

Nicole described the area to the group "I was sitting at a table for for. It was like a high top table and next to a window .. the 2 other girls sat infront of me, while the seat next to me was taken by one of the guys that went on the trip Anthony. after a while some bodyguards came down and took the booth that was next to our table we didn't think anything of it. But a few mins later we noticed that Mr. Ramos over here had sat down at the table with the bodyguard. My group was like okay cool. we knew the rules couldn't speak to them blah blah blah"

"What you aren't allowed to talk to us?" Realmuto asked

"No not unless you guys speak to us first we .. well the employees aren't allowed to go up and talk to you guys" Nicole informed the team

None of Nicoles co-workers knew what to say so they just sat there watching and listening to the story in shock 

"But yeah then 2 more players came, which I didn't noticed who they were until one of the girls across from me kicked me under the table and mouthed 'ITS YELICH' to me which i turned to look and was like OMG" Nicole laughed "And then Anthony who was sitting next to me decided to be a jerk and say super loud "NICOLE ISNT THAT YELICH THE ONE YOU LIKE" 

"I just died" Nicole put her hand to her forehead and the players were laughing at her "And the next thing I knew Christian turned around and looked around Anthony to see who this girl was.. I just smiled"

"I mean I had to turn around to see who the girl was." Christian smirked

"And I turned around and asked if you guys were the group that worked for us" Ramos added

"Yeah Ramos asked a few questions which the other people answered .. then their bodyguard told them they had to go get on the buses to head over to the stadium" Nicole added

"We'll see you guys at the game" Ramos said "i remember saying that to you guys

"After that our group went back to the rooms to get ready to go to the game as we had batting practice passes" Nicole said

"Didn't you get bugged about what happened" Elizabeth asked Nicole

"No.. no one in the group mentioned it anymore .. which was fine by me plus i was 150% sure the players had already forgotten about it." Nicole said

"Little did she know Ramos and Dietrich didn't stop teasing me bout it on the bus and told Dee and Stanton" Yelich added
