How it Happened (Christian Yelich | MLB Miami Marlins)

Chapter 37

Off season was going great. Everything was getting back to normal as it would be getting. Other Miami teams were still honoring Jose, local players attended those events. 

Nicole was flying back and forward between Miami and LA to be with Christian. Ramos and Stanton decided to take a bro trip to Brazil but were always in touch with Nicole.. Their relationship was unique. Sometimes it felt like they were dating with the way they fight with one another. 

AJ had stopped crushing on Nicoles sister Mia. Mia never really liked him to start with either way she just liked the attention and pissing off Nicole. 

"Babe what you up to" Yelich asked Nicole .. they were on FaceTime. Nicole had come back to Miami a few days early when she found out she was going to have to attend another funeral over the weekend for an old friend.. 

"Nothing just got back from the viewing" Nicole closed the door to her room and started changing

"How was it?" Christian seemed concern 

"It was weird. I finally got told what happened to her. She was at a bar drunk off her ass. Seems like she fell hit her head said she was fine kept drinking. I don't know other details after that but yeah she went home eventually and went to sleep and Im guessing it was a concussion or something cause she never woke up after that." Nicole told him

"You're okay though right? I know your strong and shit but Im here for you" Christian said 

"I know babe" Nicole smiled at him "Im good. Just weird even though we didn't talk often its still not hitting me yet"

They talked for a little while longer

"Hey Nikki!" Collin yelled and Christian turned phone to face him "When are you coming back?" 

"Not sure yet .. I was suppose to come back on Weds for a week so Im thinking of just staying here until the 26th then going back like my normal schedule was" Nicole said "WHY?"

"Just wondering" Collin replied

"I'll be back for Horror Nights chill out baby Yelli" Nicole told him

"K. Well Imma steal my brother now.. going out on the boat" Collin said then looked at Christian "Lets go"

"Please be careful! All of you!" Nicole told him

"We will. Love you babe" Christian blew her a kiss

"Nicole come here!" Mia yelled from the other room

"What happen" Nicole ran over

"Marlins park!" Mia pointed to the TV "WAGS Miami on E!"

"OhMyFUckingGAWD" Nicole got her phone

"Sup girl" AJ picked up the FaceTime chat

"ALEJANDRO RAMOS QUE PINGA ESTO [[what the fuck is this]]?" Nicole yelled at him in spanish and flipped the camera around

Stanton and AJ watched the how 20 min part of the Marlins on FaceTime 

Nicole commented through the whole thing

"Chill you see I called her out for Living in Miami and Not going to games" AJ said

"You started this whole shit man!" Nicole said

"I didn't do anything! I didn't invite her! She came alone. You know some these females crazy" Aj tried to defend himself

"She acting like she already owns you and she doesn't even know you omg" Nicole was laughing

Once the Marlins segment was over Nicole flipped that camera "just stay single stop following random chicks on social media pretend your gay and thats it stop giving me heart attacks" 

"Shut up" Aj rolled his eyes

"I can't with you bye!" Nicole laughed

"Bye Nic" Aj smiled and hung up

The preview still went on for whats coming up next on the show 

"They still talking about him" Mia laughed

"Its not even about him anymore but the fact that he was the dude that she liked at that point ugh" Nicole texted him 'your name still all up in this episode asshole'

"what day was this game?" Mia asked

"Padres.. I think late August" Nicole looked at the schedule of the 2016 season

"interesting" Mia was thinking

"What?" Nicole looked at her sister

"Nothing never mind" Mia said and changed the channel "not watching that anymore now that the Marlins part is over"
