Chapter 13

"Nicole is that you?" the girls heard a voice

Nicole turned around to see Manny "hey"

"What are you doing here?" Manny asked

"We've never been to spring training game so we came up" Nicole said

"How did you get in. Yelich didn't say you were coming?" Manny said

"I bought tickets" Tessa said

"Yeah we just did batting practice. Fan mood" Nicole laughed

"You two are idiots. You should of told me I would of given you tickets. How much did you spend" Manny asked

"The tickets came out to like $150 cause we are behind home plate. and then it was another $60 for BP and of course the $10 of parking" Tessa said

"Each or together?" Manny was in shock

"No no together. Yeah right. We aren't rich" Nicole said

"Does Yelich know your here?" Manny asked

"Well he does now. He just saw us in bp but he didn't know we were coming." Nicole said

A few mins of them talking went by and Manny had to go to the back to the club house "text me your seat locations."

"Okay" Nicole said as he walked away

"Well that was weird" Tessa said

"Meh." Nicole just shook her head and they went to get food.

The game had started and the girls took their seats. They were in the third row a little off from the right hand side of the 'on deck' area Marlins side.

"Your distracting him" Tessa joked "see the way he comes out and looks at you from the dug out"

"We'll if he wants me at games he's gonna have to get use to it" Nicole joked as well "yeah right the teams family never get this close"

Half way through the game. There was a lineup change. All the guys were switched out. So Yelich left the field along with Dee-Gordon, Stanton, Ozuna, Bour, Prado and Hechavarria.

"Are you even watching the game anymore?" Tessa laughed keeping her voice down "I mean I know Yelich isn't playing but damn girl get off of your phone"

"Nope. I only watch him" Nicole said "but for real Manny just texted me asking where I was and if I had my MLB card with me"

"Why?" Tessa asked

"No idea" Nicole answered

"Well do you?" Tessa questioned

"Duh. I don't leave home without it." Nicole wasn't going to flash it in front of the fans around them "Want to finish the game or you want to go?"

"Lets finish the game" Tessa said

"KK" Nicole continued to text

After the game was done, Nicole and Tessa went around to the back of the stadium where fans line up but the players parking lot to see if they could get autographs.

"Nicole. Those people work at the park" Tessa noticed a few office employees.

"Those are sales reps. They have season ticket holders with them. They are going to the back for some event or whatever" Nicole calmed Tessa down

Little did Tessa know she was going back there too.

"Look theres Christian riding the golf cart with the body guard" Nicole pointed out as they walked to the back fence.

"how can you even tell thats him" Tessa squinted her eyes trying to make out the person

"I know my man." Nicole laughed answering her phone .."Almost at the back fence"

"Who was that?" Tessa asked

"Manny" Nicole said .. "Follow me" she said as the body guard took Yelich back into the hidden area
