Chapter 21

Last LA Dodger game::

TXT Tessa: Hey what time does your flight come in? Do you want me to pick you up?

N: Hey. No I don't need a ride. I canceled my flight. I'm heading over to Milwaukee with the team. 

T: What? So I guess I should make other plans then

N: What plans? o_O

T: Never mind then if you don't remember -_-

N: What plans Tessa?

T: We had plans for tonight but you don't remember so whatever

N: Tessa I remember us talking about possibly doing something but we never set any plans

T: Whatever Nicole

After the game the few wives/girlfriends that were there headed to meet the team by the club house to get on the buses so they could head over to the airport. 

As the guys came out in groups. They were all quite whispering stuff in their partners ears. Finally Nicoles group came out. Yelich, Stanton, Ramos, Bour, Koehler and Realmuto. 

Yelich held his hand out for Nicole. Looking up at him with worried eyes she laced her fingers with his. Christian leaned down "Dee was suspended for 80 games"

Nicole was just shocked.

Right when they hit the door to go outside "Go with the fellas and get on the bus, I'll be there in a min" Christian told Nicole. He stops when he can to take pictures and to give autographs to fans. 

Realmuto, Koehler, Bour and Stanton all did a semi circle around Nicole. They all knew how much Nicole didn't want to be in the public eye yet but she loved being with the fellas so they tried to cover her as much as possible. Which wasn't hard when they all were so tall.

"Come on babe" Stanton pushed Nicole onto the players bus

"GianCarlo!" Nicole laughed 

At least the guys are starting to joke around. Yes the stuff going on with Dee was horrible but the team needed to keep going. They were told not to comment on anything so most of the guys headed straight for the buses.

Nicole headed towards the mid-back of the bus, picked her seat. Next to Nicole/Yelich seats Bour took one of those seats. Eventually someone will join Bour. Stanton took the seats behind Nicole & Christian. Ramos was going to be sitting with him. Next to Ramos and Stanton (Behind Bour) sat Realmuto and Koehler.

"you okay?" Yelich asked sitting next to his girlfriend

"yup" Nicole smiled at him

"No kissing!!" Ramos yelled at them

"Shut up" Yelich threw a water bottle behind him

Nicoles phone went off - Tessa .. 

"oOo who you ignoring" Stanton reached over the seats

"Tessa" Nicole put her phone in Christians pocket

"Finally over her then? Has she admitted she's in love with you?" Ramos said

"What?" Nicole turned around

Realmuto leaned over "Your telling us you haven't noticed the way she looks at you and is obsessed with you"

"Stahhp" Nicole laughed

"What she say?" Christian asked

"Well earlier today she got mad I wasn't going home today" Nicole recalled the convo 

"Yeli gotta be careful she might come and hunt you down" Koehler joked

"Yeah Yelich your depriving Tessa of her love. You've kept her 5 days so far.. she was suppose to go home but your keeping her for an extra 3 days.. then we are home for another 11 days.." Stanton joked

"OMG" Nicole was shaking her head

Yelich laughed putting his arm around Nicole and kissed her on the top of her head

"Come on guys leave her girlfriend alone" Christian joked

"Not my girlfriend!" Nicole elbowed him in the ribs and pushed him off

"babe!" Yelich pulled her back to him

"your lucky your stronger then me!" Nicole said "I'm sitting with Manny on the plane!"

They all laughed.
