|You'd be my best mistake|

Lyrics:

'Cause if the water dries up, and the moon stops shining

stars fall, and the world goes blind.

Boy, you know I'll be saving my love for you.

3rd POV:

"I'm sorry," he silently cried as he sliced his skin for the third time in a minute.

All the thoughts of hurting him like he hurt her came back and it was almost too much pressure. Nash always felt the need to blame himself for everything that goes wrong around him. The fact that his parents would separate would be because of him. HIs mother was probably disgusted to have her son have such feelings that she'd leave the man she once loved just to get away, that was another cut.

If he hurt another person he loved he was certain that he'd kill himself. He tried so hard to make the pain stop. The only thing he hasn't tried yet was drugs, and he's ashamed to say he's so wiling now. He did not want to hurt Cameron at all. He wanted to be the reason he smiles and laughs, the thing is he doesn't know he already is. While Nash is in his bathroom cutting away the pain Cameron was debating on whether to stop by or not. Cameron just wanted to make the pain go away for Nash. He wasn't sure if he should be falling for such a broken person, but he did know he wanted to fix him. Cameron had these feelings that he didn't want to admit was love. He didn't want to admit anything.

Cameron's mother knew his son better than her own son knew himself. She knew Cameron was on the verge of falling in love, and she thought that would be the best thing to happen to him so far. She wanted to see her son talk about him with a sparkle in his eyes. She knew that sparkle was starting to form too.

"Nash come down for dinner," his mother yelled knocking on his door.

Nash sighed and picked up everything. He wiped himself and the sink clean of his blood and rolled his sleeve down to cover what he had down. The second the stringy wool fabric touched his cut he started to feel the pain he deserved. He had never wanted to be in such pain again, but he loved the feeling.

Nash took a breath before opening his door and walking down the stairs, his shoes making a loud thud against the carpeted steps. He turned into the dining room to find his family eating silently. The mood that flowed from them was like that of a family that was splitting up. Nash found himself a plate in the next room and served himself salad with spaghetti. He sat down very uncomfortable because he never enjoyed dinner time. Dinner time was the time you'd talk about your day and laugh, at least thats what it used to be.

Elizabeth looked up at Nash with a look of slight disappointment. Chad looked up and saw the look in his wife's eyes and decided to strike up a conversation.

"How was your day honey?" he said uncomfortably chewing on a limp piece of lettuce.

Elizabeth turned her head to face him, "Great, you?" She answered knowing that her husband didn't actually care.

"I had a good day. Some man emailed me asking for a refund and I had to write a long letter that clearly stated that I didn't work with refunds, just selling," Chad responded twirling his fork in his spaghetti and lifted the fork to his lips.

"How was your day Hayes?" Elizabeth asked clearly ignoring her other son.

"As great as a Saturday could get," he said laughing slightly at his own joke, " I didn't really do anything," He continued and slipped some spaghetti in mid sentence.
