Love is vivid,
No we're not in love,
You fall right in it for a week a month or maybe just a minute or a lifetime

Cameron looked at his 3rd outfit choice for the day. His body was saying 'fab af' but his mind was saying 'ugly'.

He doesn't know when he started to feel this way about his body, but lately he has. He thinks he needs to work out more because if he gets ugly Nash will leave him or something. His anxiety is the cause of this and he hates it.

"Let's go!" Gina yelled from downstairs. She was tired of waiting for her son to get dressed. It's been an hour already and she just wants to go.

They planned to have a little mother-son date and walk around town. Cameron really needs this considering all of him emotions at the moment. His mom suggested it when she saw him sitting on the couch with an 'I'm depressed, fix me!' look that she swears was real. If Cameron was being honest he just missed Nash.

Elizabeth was being an asshole again. He couldn't deal with her. If she wasn't Nash's mother he swears he'd bitch slap her. But of course he can't because then his own mother would be disappointed.

"You look fine." Cameron repeated this to himself every time he put something on. After his 4th try he gave up and left the house with a hoodie and pants. He looked hot regardless.

"Finally! It actually took you forever and a day to pick something." Gina said slapping her hands on her thighs with an irritated tone.

"Calm down, mom. I'm a teenager I'm meant to be this way."

"I don't even care anymore I just want to get out of this house." Gina said getting her cross body from a bedside table that was put in the hallway by the door.

"If we don't have fun today then I'm self-diagnosing you with depression." She concluded.

She opened the door and stepped out into the warm spring wind. Her hair flew back and hit Cameron in the eyes.

"Mother!" He whined.

Gina laughed and grabbed her hair only to let it fall, along with her jaw. Cameron was rubbing his eyes when his mother decides to push him back into the house.

"I don't wanna go out anymore." She quickly said as she locked the door.

She knew if Cameron saw what she did then her prediction of him being depressed would be correct.

"What?" He asked confused.

His eyes had to adjust to the light, but once they did he could see panic in his mothers eyes. "What's going on mom?" He asked worriedly, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Nothing honey, I just realized I don't wanna go out today." She pushed him back into their living room, "How about we watch a movie?"

"But I wanna go outside," Cameron insisted, attempting to walk past his mother to get to the door. She was persistent though.

"Let's watch some... Parks and rec!"

"Mom, no"
