~Clints POV~

"Shit!" Stark swore as I listened through my earpiece whilst shooting Hydra soldiers at the same time.

"Language!" Steve scolded and I tried to suppress a laugh.

"Jarvis,what's the view from upstairs?" He asked ignoring what he'd just said.

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's  technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken." Jarvis said his voice echoing through our ear pieces.

"Loki's scepter must be here!" Thor said whilst hitting people with his hammer.
"Strucker couldn't mount this defence without it. At long last!" He shouted looking up to the sky in joy.

At this point I shot a few more people from behind the tree I was standing by and Nat leaped through the air knocking people to the floor in her path.

"At long last is lasting a little long boys!" She shouted electrocuting some more soldiers and stepping over them as I laughed slightly.

"Yeah, I think we lost the element of surprise!" I replied shooting a bunker which exploded a few seconds later.

"Wait a second, no one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said 'language'?" Stark asked and I watched as Steve rode towards a group of Hydra soldiers on his motorbike.

"I know." He replied before flipping the bike towards the soldiers and letting go causing it to crash into them and their jeep.

"It just slipped out!" He finished grabbing his shield and looking around.

I looked around and shot an arrow before I was suddenly knocked to the ground. I looked up to see a man and a woman looking down at me. The man had silver hair and blue eyes and the woman in his arms had bright blue hair but I couldn't see what colour her eyes were.

"You didn't see that coming?" He asked  in an Sovokian accent before speeding away carrying the woman with him. I got up off the floor and looked in the direction they had gone in. I tried to grab an arrow but then realised that the girl had froze them together.The next thing I knew I was back on the floor again and I looked down to see I'd been shot. I swore quietly in pain and Nat ran over to me.

"We have an enhanced on the field." Cap says and I sigh.

"Two actually, a boy and a girl." I explained before groaning in pain and clutching my side.

"Clint's hit." Nat stated moving my hand from my side and trying to examine my wound. However it was hard because a bunker kept shooting at us.

"Someone want to deal with that bunker?" Nat asked and  pretty much as soon as she said it the hulk ran through the bunker smashing it to pieces. I smirked slightly as Nat shouted a thank you out. They definitely like each other.

"Stark!" Cap shouted and I could see him throwing his shield in the distance.

"We really need to get inside." He finished.

"Closing in!" Stark replied as I looked up to see soldiers falling for the path up to the main building. A few minutes later the energy shield was deactivated and the main building was open to attack.

"Drawbridge is down people." Stark shouted.

"The enhanced?" I heard Thor asked Cap from wherever they were.

"He's a blur." Steve started as I groaned in pain.

"Clint says theirs a girl as well. All the new players and I never seen this. I still haven't." He finished and I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He still hasn't fully adapted to our modern world yet.

"Clint's hit pretty bad guys, we're gonna need evac!" Nat said coming and kneeling back beside me which is weird because I didn't even notice she'd gone.

"I can get Barton to the jet. The sooner we're gone the better," Thor shouted.
"You and Stark secure the scepter!"

~Kenzie's POV~

"Find the scepter!" Thor ordered before flying into the sky.

"And for gosh sake watch your language!" I heard Tony mock through Steve's earpiece. Because I can control all the elements I can manipulate them to make my self invisible for a short amount of time,that's how I could get close enough to Steve so I could hear through his earpiece. I backed away from him slowly and back to where Pietro was waiting for me. He glanced at me quickly before picking me up bridal style and running back to Wanda. We ran past Steve making him stumble slightly once again in the process.

When we reached Wanda she was standing in the shadows watching Tony silently. Me and Pietro went to join her and we all watched him. He stood staring into thin air for a few minutes before walking closer to the scepter. Pietro went to stop him but me and Wanda both put our arms in the way. I know Tony and he's not like this,which means Wanda has done something to his mind. I guess it hurts me slightly to have to do this but I picked my side and he picked his.

"You're just going to let him take it?" Pietro whispered in disbelief as Wanda nodded and I smirked.

"What? Why?" He asked and I lent closer to him until my lips were up against his ear.

"I know him better than anyone he'll do something stupid!" I whispered and Pietro nodded finally understanding what we were doing.

Tony grabbed the scepter and got back into his suit and flew away quickly not looking back once. The three of us is stepped out of the shadows and glance around.

"Tony Stark is curious. Isn't he?" Wanda asked as I nodded.

"Curiosity killed the cat!"
